I looked at the link, but I'm old and from the old school so I don't want to take the time to click each link to find out what a hash tag really is. My answer still stays, "What the hell is a hash tag and why would I need to use one?" I don't do Twitter, Facebook or anything else, other than use Google's search engine. I thought I was pretty far into technology, but I guess I have been passed on by.
