Open Thread: Imagine If a Conservative Publication Had Done This - Big Journalism

Really????? They put Malcom X's picture there instead of Barack Obama President of the United States????

They couldn't tell the difference? Is this is Freudian Slip by the liberal media?

That's what they would have said had a conservative publication done this.

What will be their excuse? "Well they all look alike???"

How does this happen? They never replaced Bush's picture with someone else.

Yikes, but this is bad.

The 'Neocon' Times IS a conservative publication.

The Post's editorial positions on foreign policy and economic issues have seen a definitively conservative bent: it has steadfastly supported the 2003 invasion of Iraq, warmed to President George W. Bush's proposal to partially privatize Social Security, opposed a deadline for U.S. withdrawal from the Iraq War, and advocated free trade agreements, including CAFTA.

In "Buying the War" on PBS, Bill Moyers noted 27 editorials supporting George W. Bush's ambitions to invade Iraq. National security correspondent Walter Pincus reported that he had been ordered to cease his reports that were critical of Republican administrations.

Yea Gomer, those 27 editorials supporting George W. Bush's ambitions to invade Iraq were just done to throw people off. And obviously correspondent Walter Pincus's reporting he was ordered to cease reports critical of Republican administrations was done for the same reason...

The story is that it's sad that there's "liberal/conservative" publications, at all. Fawk that.

Did the Malcolm X article start to point a finger at LBJ for his assassination?

See, LBJ was cool with Malcolm as long as he was an agitator, but when he came back from Mecca a changed, peaceful and beautiful man, LBJ had to get rid of him. Malcolm threatened to dispel the class and race warfare that's the very lifeblood sustaining the Democrat Party.

In other words the typical token conservative that liberal publications have to cover their ass, means the entire paper is conservative.

Nice one. :lol::lol::lol:

Why are liberals so damn dense they think these lame CYA tactics actually work????????

Yeah, because "gotcha" politics are ONLY okay when the target is a conservative like Mark Foley!!!!!

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

I mean seriously people. Idiot liberals are claiming racism from the tea party for a lot less.

But if it's the liberal media suddenly we don't dare judge them?

I call utter BS!!!!!!!! :lol::lol::lol:

The Washington COMPOST is hardly a conservative publication... it's about as much of an ass kissing suck-up liberal fishwrap as there is

Are you dumb? I only ask because you'd have to be seriously mental to extrapolate any of that from my post.

i wouldn't expect better from a braindead troll like her. and your question about her being that dumb is rhetorical, right? i wouldn't believe anything she posted if her typing fingers were notarized.

but you have to love the irony of her putting karl rove's boyfriend into the mix.

the problem with freaks like her is they admit they don't care what they say. they admit they don't care if what they post is true. they could care less. and they justify it in their little fevered minds by saying 'waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh... the 'left' was mean to....."

what a marroon...

washingtonpost.com - nation, world, technology and Washington area news and headlines

That section of the page rotates news stories of the day (watch!), Malcolm X's assassin was in the news Tuesday and that story was apparently one in rotation, the captions didn't sync with the pictures.

Stop the presses...

HOLY JESUS SHIT! There is someone who actually reads the news and knew that Malcolm X's assassin was paroled which when put in context with the picture in the headline box puts much perspective on the OPs inane and idiotic points.
