Seriously, the Demo field of presidential candidates is a clown show.

The republican fields in '08 & '12 were absolutely horrendous....'16 wasn't any great improvement.

There's a reason we have Trump, and it isn't because he's the greatest political operator in history.

I have to say, when McCain was the candidate in 2008, I had zero doubt he would lose to Obama. If I had been a betting man, I might have honestly had cashed everything in and put it all on Obama. The problem is, as I search now it appears Obama was about a 10-1 betting favourite. 10-1 in a heads up match! Indeed, McCain was horrible.

The GOP had remained a more Neo-Con Party with big money from the Bush alliance. It's why I say, outside of maybe Rubio or Rand Paul, Clinton would have beaten these GOP. Trump is rebranding the GOP to be modern. More libertarian. A broader outreach and effort to assist those less fortunate, especially against China and others. This will go a long way, as the Dems are seen as socialists, Pro Open Borders, Pro-China

I remember a number of polls showing Ron Paul having a fighting chance in '12, and Rand in '16.....But the neocon spooks who still infest the GOP will have nothing to do with candidates who are pro-peace and serious about shrinking The State.
