Has the left stopped blaming THE global warming for the California fires yet?

Fire at a homeless encampment sparked Bel-Air blaze that destroyed homes, officials say

The blaze that swept through the hills of Bel-Air last week, destroying six homes and damaging a dozen others, was sparked by a cooking fire at a homeless encampment in a nearby ravine, Los Angeles officials said Tuesday.

The encampment was nestled in a canyon several hundred feet from Sepulveda Boulevard and the 405 Freeway, hidden from passing cars. For several years, it had been home to an unknown number of people, officials said.

Investigators said the fire had not been set deliberately and they have not found any of the people who lived there. The camp — one of scores of makeshift communities that have grown along freeways, rivers and open space across Los Angeles — was largely destroyed in the fire, leaving authorities with little evidence.

News that one of Los Angeles’ most affluent neighborhoods was damaged in a fire sparked by some of the city’s poorest residents added a sober note to the incident, with some officials saying it underscores the need to do more to house the homeless.

Interesting how the left are still reporting that it is THE global warming.

Gov. Jerry Brown warns climate change has us 'on the road to hell.' California's wildfires show he's on to something

When he’s lecturing about climate change, Gov. Jerry Brown sounds like a street-corner preacher shouting: “Repent. Change your ways. The end is near.”

I envision him in a sackcloth robe, arms flailing and chanting at the wind.

But it’s nearly Christmas and wicked wildfires are devastating California beauty. So Brown is obviously on to something.

This traditionally is the season for mudslides and flooding. Until now, no major wildfire has ever ravished California in December, at least since the state began keeping records in 1932. Our fire season has reliably been summer and early fall.

Ominously, of the 20 largest California wildfires since 1932, most — 14 — have occurred since 2000. The five largest all have.

Brown warned about this in July, long before the October wine country wildfires, the most destructive in state history, and the current Southern California blazes.

The same paper folks that reported how the fire started is the same paper still reporting that THE global warming is the actual cause of the fires.

You cannot make any of this stuff up.

Pot head Jerry said "get used to it". Imagine if a republican said that. The dirty little secret is that the MSM has the power to force Jerry Brown out of office but they choose to ignore the plight of California citizens in favor of democrat politics.

I've never seen a wildfire where the media didn't ask how it was started...they are not curious at all...and it's because they want their trained seals in the Nation to blame the weather...

I'm surprised Governor Moonbeam didn't blame the fires on sexual harassment.
