Trump's $110 billion Saudi arms deal has only earned $14.5 billion so far - CNNPolitics

If you are willing to spend at least 14 billion, you too can blow up a bus full of school kids, murder US residents and any other types of depraved shit, we currently have a clearance sale going on.

Why is Trump and most of his supporters so willing to be dismissive of the whole murdered US journalist thing? Money. This has long been the reason why we hold our nose and continue to dance with the Devil that is Saudi Arabia, money. What is different with Trump is, no one has been so willing to bend over and take it for money like Trump proudly does -- it's almost a globalist attitude to be willing to justify everything you do for money.

How much money are we talking? Trump claims 110 billion, but that isn't true -- so far, Saudi Arabia has made good on 14 billion worth of arms purchases that was negotiated before Trump even got in office -- then Trump and Saudi Arabia signed a memo that Saudi Arabia would over the next 10 years purchase 100 billion more in weapons even tho their military isn't even large enough to sustain that much military equipment -- and the equipment they have now is being used to slaughter women and children in Yemen -- maybe Syria can send us over some money and all would be forgiven with them too..

"Saudi purchases of American weapons are nothing new, though. The kingdom has long promised to purchase more US arms than their forces can possibly absorb and make use of as they have sought to buy influence in the US."

Turkey is already following the autocrat playbook by now using Trump's greed against him by having Trump openly discuss handing over one of our own residents over to Turkey so Turkey can do the same thing that Saudi Arabia did -- I am definitely sure Russia would love it if we turned over a few people for them to "interrogate" -- makes me wonder, what are we not willing to justify for money?

Remember Helsinki?

Putin asked for a number of American citizens (including a former Ambassador) and Trump made noises like he would accomodate

Yea I remember -- Trump lovers will write that off as "Trump was just trolling libs" -- in fact, Trump lovers justify most things as "he was just trolling libs"

Outrage erupts over Trump-Putin ‘conversation’ about letting Russia interrogate ex-U.S. diplomat Michael McFaul

Our wonderful Pres. Trump is the best thing to happen to this country in decades.

He deserves to be praised and adored by all citizens for his unselfish service and dedication to the nation.

Only miscreants and malcontents will deny this fact. ....

Democrats really hate American business.

That seems random. What's your idea here?

Personally I wonder what the journalist was up to? There is also a value to every life. Trump and most rational people would sacrifice one of us if it meant enough. Heck, look at how many lives the Hoover Dam was worth.

Unless you want to pay $4.25 per gallon of gasoline over this guy, then what Trump is doing is looking out for the entire country. We have a great economy going in the right direction. He's trying to keep it that way. A huge increase in fuel prices could put a damper on this trend and then the Democrats would be crying how much fuel costs.

Look, man. In the Trump administration it's Russia First, Saudi Arabia Second, with North Korea having an option for Third.

America Last, man. America Last.

The modern world is sold out to crude oil. People would rather surrender their liberty than work on all the ways and means to live independently of a single source of energy.
Another example of how the populace takes the societal infrastructure, physical and non-physical, for granted along with all the inherent availability of easy choices, and gets lazy about taking care of our liberty.

Is that why we looked the other way when 9/11 happened? Because we didn't want to make the Saudis upset?

So when they claim we are the most powerful nation on Earth, we were just bullshitting?

There are ways to deal with Saudi Arabia without having to perform public fellatio on them like Trump does daily.

Maybe, but you'd be the first to cry if you paid over $2.50 for a gallon of gas.

There is a theory leftists hate, it's called action/reaction.

When somebody takes an action, in most cases, it draws a reaction.

Positive actions usually cause positive reactions and negative actions usually cause negative reactions.

So how do you deal with Saudi's without them dealing with us in the same way?

Gas is over $2.50 in some places now -- for the longest time we have been told that gas will be over $6 a gallon because Obama blah blah blah

The fear of rising fuel prices is always used as a deflection -- but no one cared about that when they were justifying going into Iraq, Syria, and Iran if need be -- apparently none of that will cause fuel spikes -- but not kissing Saudi Arabia ass does? Ok....

Of course it effected fuel prices and the left was the first to complain. It would be the same thing now if we plagued the country with higher fuel prices over one guy.

The left were the first to complain about going into IRAQ PERIOD -- fuel prices were among the outer most periphery of those complaints...the key complaint was going into IRAQ period, especially when 100% of the hijackers didn't come from Iraq..

Glad you acknowledged that the left were the first to complain -- because if you ask Trump -- he was the first guy against the Iraq war

Yes he was and still is.

We didn't go to Iraq because of 911. We went to Iraq to try and avoid another 911.

Now try to be honest for a moment here. If Trump put sanctions against the Saudi's, and fuel prices went up to $4.00 a gallon, you mean to tell me the left would be comfortable with that because it was Saudi Arabia that was sanctioned? They wouldn't blame Trump and try to make it a political talking point for weeks or months on end?

That is a lot more than Soros was offering for it. If we were for sale.

every stat Trump quoted was nothing but his ass talking -- 400,000 - 500,000 new jobs are how many fact checkers it will take to keep up with him.

Imo, you're OP falls into Trump's trap of framing the argument not on truth but rather a made up fact his followers can easily grasp. It's not about 14 bill or even 110bill. Trump blew up the US auto industry for more than that on some made up beef with Germany over steel, which had more to do with Trump's sense of personal affront from Merkel not offering him sufficient "high praise."

Rather, our policy vis a vis Iran is tied to Saudi Arabia. Trump changed policy from Obama, for better or worse, but as Potus he does get to choose natl security policy .. when it's really nat sec as opposed to immigration or something that he similarly lies about to give his supporters easily grasped. And it may be the right policy.

But imo you're right that Trump appears to lack the ability to revamp his position. For example, Rocket Man continues to be Rocket Man, but Trump has declared victory ... which really is a victory for Rocket Man. The question should be what are we possibly accomplishing in starving 60K Yemeni children? We starved a lot in Iraq, but apparently we really did end Saddam's womd programs. MsB has pledged personal loyalty to Trump, but if he's killing and torturing women and a US journalist who pose no danger to the Saudi govt, is this really a guy we want to in bed with our military?

Well this tells it all!
