I searched for each Presidential and Vice-Presidential candidate's name over the last day.

Just to clarify how popular McCain's VP choice is here, see the attachments below.

so being talked about on USMB means popularity? then Obama must be downright loved around here LOL...

Palin's nomination created buzz, Palin herself? perhaps a little based on the unknown aspect of her policies and beliefs.

Because it's got you liberals scared. You know it's all over now but the cryin', and you're all doing plenty of that already here.

You're confusing being scared with concern that this pick isn't in the best interest of our country if something should happen to McCain.

We feel that Obama isn't in the best interest of the country, for the same reason Palin is not. Their inexperience is paralleled.

Actually it's not paralleled. Obama has more experience on national level.

And Obama has zero executive experience. He's never had to make a decision where all the blame rests on his shoulders. He's never had to carry the weight of an entire state on his shoulders. He has meetings and votes in committees. Palin makes decisions.

And, Obama's "national experience" is two years in the Senate and then two years running for President.

Yeah, totally comparable:

Sara Palin:

-B.A. in Journalism from Idaho State
-Mayor of a town of 7,000 people
-18 months as governor, in which she has already been investigated for ethics violations, and admits “I don’t know much” about the Iraq war.
-Two trips outside the United States in her life
-Never met a foreign leader.
-Didn't have a passport until 2007

Obama:

-B.A. in Political Science at Columbia
-Harvard law degree
-president of Harvard Law Review
-Constitutional Law professor for 12 years
-Illinois State senator for 8 years
-U.S. Senator making many official trips worldwide including meeting with Nouri al-Maliki, and many other world leaders.
-Unseats and outwits the Clinton machine during the Democratic primaries
-US Senate Foreign Relations Committee member - arguably, the most important Foreign Policy job in the U.S. outside the President and Sec. of State
-Veterans Affairs Committee: Most important veteran's affairs position in the United States, outside the Dept. of VA

Again, Obama's participation in the Senate Foreign Relations Committee is slim. He is chairman of the Subcommittee on European Affairs, and they have met a total of zero times since he took over. Some experience.

When Biden was chair of the same committee, he used it to launch himself into the foreign policy forefront.

Exactly. Their experience isn't parallel. You're comparing apples to oranges.

Obama has 8 years experience in the Illinois State Senate, and from 2005 to the present in the U.S. Senate.

Palin has been governor of Alaska for two years and a former mayor of Wasilla, a town with a population of 6,715, according to the town website.

Palin's decisions have only been on a state level while Obama's have been been on a state and national level.

McCain might trump Obama's experience, but Palin doesn't trump Obama's experience.

 LOL .... Dream on! And by the way .... I loved your signature. It is just to bad that you had to make it HUGE ... so at least one person, me ... would see it!
