Obama Doesn’t Get It

American business is buckling under the impacts of more regulation and higher taxes, causing innovation, investment, and ultimately jobs, to go elsewhere.

Not long ago, Intel CEO Paul Otellini gave praise to the great opportunities inherent in the American business model.

No longer.

Last week Otellini issued dire warnings of a United States economy teetering on the brink of disaster, due in great part to a Democrat Congress and Obama White House seemingly incapable of understanding the fundamentals of free market capitalism. And Otellini did not mince words when speaking to a large group of technology based industry leaders at the Technology Policy Institute’s Aspen Forum last week when stating, “I think this group(current Democrat leadership)does not understand what it takes to create jobs. And I think they’re flummoxed by their experiment in Keynesian economics not working.”

But, he is educated... how can he not fully, support, Democrats..... Scientist, artists... 96%... Blacks...

It would appear the Obama honeymoon even among the liberal-leaning tech industry leaders is long over. And rightfully so - the Obama White House and Democrat Congress persist in their Big Government/Anit-Business attempts at a command and control economy...

Otellini went on to explain how, due to ever increasing taxes and regulation, it costs billions more to build and retain factories in the United States vs other parts of the world. The result of this significant added cost is simple – those jobs go overseas. The Intel CEO indicated that government has become increasingly anti-business under the current Democrat Party domination of the White House and Congress.

Intel CEO Otellini Blasts Obama, Democrats

The government in Washington isn’t taking necessary actions to ensure that our economy remains competitive, says Intel CEO Paul Otellini.

“More of the country is beginning to recognize that we are not taking the right steps as a nation to ensure that our economy is on a long-term trajectory of growth and leadership,” he said in a speech.
