Actually, government has shrunk by over 500,000 since Obama became president.

What exactly has Obama done in the nearly three years he's been president. Why would anyone call him a leader? All he did was:

Save the auto industry
Pass Health Care (unpopular because health care is bad)
Stopped a depression
stimulated by the economy to the tune of a couple of million jobs
ended Don't ask Don't tell
shot Bin Laden in the face
expanded gun laws more than any other president in history
sweeping change in patent laws
got rid of Qaddafi without the loss of a single American life
Saved Christmas for millions of Americans whose unemployment was about to be cut off
moved tens of thousands of soldiers out of Iraq
two female Supreme Court Justices
Provided travel expenses to families of fallen soldiers to be on hand when the body arrives
Reversed the policy of barring media coverage during the return of fallen soldiers
Provided the Department of Veterans Affairs with more than $1.4 billion
Require HC to disclose how much of the premium actually goes to patient care
Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to look out for the interests of everyday Americans
law requiring lenders to verify applicants' credit history, income, and employment status
Cut prescription drug cost for medicare recipients by 50%
Policies that created more private sector jobs in 2010 than during entire Bush years
New START Treaty - nuclear arms reduction pact with Russia

And he did the after inheriting two wars, a 10 trillion dollar deficit, an exhausted military, a trashed Justice Department, a deregulated Wall Street and a broken economy.

At the same time, fighting a political party who only goal was to destroy his presidency, who wanted him brought down, even before he was sworn in. A party that voted time and again against their own proposals and policies and against the interests of their base, in an attempt to ruin the President of the United States. A party that insisted he's not "American". That he's a Manchurian Candidate. A conspiracy. A man who did everything right, except be born white.

Do we really need to list Republican achievements during the six LOOOOONG years they held both houses, the presidency and had a majority in the Supreme Court? It's a very short list. So short I couldn't think of a single positive thing.

Imagine what Obama could have done if Republicans could get past his skin color?

• Which gun laws did Obama expand?
• What sweeping changes were made to the patent laws?
• How does loosing 3.3 million jobs beat Bush's atrocious record of 1.01 million jobs created?

Those are just the obvious questions after glancing at your post and its outrageous claims. I will await your answers, even though I expect you to pretend I never actually asked the questions.

Rdeans simplistic Childlike comment that the health care bill is bad because "health Care is Bad" aside. The plain truth is Obamacare is not going to do what is needed. Period. It's by far not the best way to go about making sure people have access to health care, and is actually making it cost even more.

To answer the Question in the Title.

Of course he has done things, lots of things. Some of them good, But far to many of them not. He has added massively to our underlying Debt problems, and you can not blame all of it on Bush. Obama is addicted to quick fix, Feel Good, Government spending programs.

The problem is all they do is give you a short term gain. They do nothing to Address the real Problems, and in the end when their effect wears off, we fall even harder, and have even more debt to deal with.

It's not costing more. If you want to know why, ask Mitt Romney.

Bullshit. Obama care does nothing to address the cost of Health Care. NOTHING. We were told it would lower Insurance Premiums, and so far it has actually risen them.

The Bill was suppose to be about 2 main things. Insuring all the Uninsured, and LOWERING the cost of health care. It fails at the first, and never really even had a chance at the second.

That is the Real Problem with Health Care. It's not the Insurance Companies, It's not anything else. The Problem is Health Care cost way to much. How many of you people actually believe that a single round of Chemo and the Follow up shot the next day. Are worth anywhere near the over 30 GRAND it costs? That is what My fathers insurance Paid, Every single time he was treated. Several Treatments and Several Follow up shots each time.

Or how many of you actually think a doctor who sees you for a total of 45 Seconds and rights you a RX. Should Charge that person over 400 DOLLARS for that 45 Seconds and single Script? Over and above the 110 Dollars the Walk In Clinic charges?

I mean come on man. We can just ignore the out of control cost of Providing Health care, and have the "government" Pay for it. If we want to fix things it starts with making it more affordable, Not simply Forcing every to buy insurance to pay for Over priced Health Care. All that does is perpetuate the Cycle that caused the Prices to get so Inflated.

the Fact that Most people are not actually paying out of pocket for Health care, so they really do not care how much it costs. It leads to 30,000 Dollar Round of Chemo and 400, 45 second Doctor Visits.
