Harvard's Leftist Destroy Israel conference

Would there be any chaos and conflict if your own Arab brethren would have accepted Israel instead of trying to always trying to destroy her?

Why should they have accepted giving half of their country to foreigners?

Would the people in the US or any other country approve that?

Better than 80% of the Arabs west of the Jordan River were foreigners from Egypt, Jordan or other Arab countries in 1948. What you are really asking is why should they allow Jews to have a country of their own.

Got proof?

Gee, Jillian, you gave me a neg rep on this post.

What is wrong with it?

That's OK Jrock, I get neg reps all the time from losers who can't debate.

You know I do since we've gone through this before.

According to the first report from to League of Nations, the entire population of the Mandate, including what would become Trans Jordan, was only 700,000 in 1921. Since the area west of the Jordan River, today Israel and the disputed territories, constituted only about 22% of the Mandate, its population was 154,000. According to the report, there were 76,000 Jews, all around Jerusalem or on the coast, so there were only 78,000 Arabs west of the Jordan River.

An Interim Report on the Civil Administration of Palestine to the League of Nations, June 1921

A 1922 census by the British set the total population at 757,182 with 83,694 Jews. So the population west if the Jordan River, only 22% of the Mandate was 166,580 and the number of Arabs living there was 82,886. Either way, there were roughly the same number of Jews and Arab living west of the Jordan River when the British took charge.

1922 census of Palestine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

For the Arab population to have grown from 78,000 in 1921 to 1,200,000 in 1948 would mean it increased by 1500%, but studies of the West Bank communities which had little economic development during the Mandate period showed that by natural growth, the population grew by only 70% from 1922 to 1944. That would mean that by 1944 the Arab population west of the Jordan River would have grown by natural means to only 132,000.

Harvard to Host Conference Promoting Israel's Destruction

On March 3-4, Harvard will host a two-day conference at the Kennedy School of Government focused, in effect, on dismantling the Jewish state of Israel. A number of student groups and others associated with Harvard are sponsoring “One State Conference: Israel/Palestine and the One State Solution.”

Those who promote a one-state “solution” advocate creating an entity which would, through its merger with the Palestinian Arab population of the West Bank and Gaza and an influx of Palestinians from neighboring states, lose its Jewish majority and its Jewish character. In effect, Jewish self-determination would be nullified.

According to the working definition of anti-Semitism developed by the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA), and recognized by the United States Department of State, the One State Conference, in implicitly “denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination,” is an exercise in anti-Semitism.

People are coming to the realization that the state of Israel created in 1948 is not the solution to the Jewish problem western governments had hoped it would be.

Now top academics need to discuss a new paradigm for the Jewish problem that has plagued Europe for many centuries.

This is in no way an anti-semitic conference.

But a sincere dialogue ment to finally address a fair and equitable, once and for all, true "final solution".
And to make it fair, let's apply the same "solution" to Palestinians.

You may start backpedaling now.

These are just people who have chosen to be irrelevant to any real world issues, since there is already a one state solution; it's called Israel.

Of course, there is an audience for this sort of thing.
The failed abortion called "Israel" is not a solution to anything.

And does nothing but cause chaos and misery for the world.
Muslims cause chaos and misery in the Muslim world.

Man up and take responsibility for yourselves. Quit blaming your failures on other people.

Republicans stand with Israel

The virulence of anti-Israelism and antisemitism at The University of California, Irvine campus, for instance, has been so flagrant and endemic in recent years that it actually prompted an investigation by the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Civil Rights, the findings of which were issued in a damning 2007 report. But San Francisco State University is not far behind in the ignoble way it has enabled its Muslim students' organizations to create a veritable reign of terror on campus against Jewish and pro-Israel students, while simultaneously attempting to silence voices of opposition, a situation made evident this January when SFSU's College Republicans were once again pushed into the limelight for their outspoken challenges to the school's ubiquitous Palestinianism.

Playing off the recent indignity suffered by former president Bush when an insolent reporter hurled a shoe at the President's head during a press conference, the College Republicans had set up a booth to let students who so wished to sign an anti-Hamas, anti-terror petition and throw a shoe at a Hamas flag. Deeply "offended" by the Republicans for daring to condemn terrorists, rather than the Israeli state in defending its civilians from genocidal attack, members of SFSU's General Union of Palestinian Students (GUPS) and socialist club overturned the table, seized the Hamas flag, and were physically aggressive enough in their assault of the Republican students to result in two of their members, Muhammad Abdullah and Jeremy Stern, being put under arrest.

Archived-Articles: Hate Speech At San Francisco State University

The outcome of this event, one would think, would be fairly straightforward, since the pro-Hamas protestors clearly violated SFSU's own rules for student behavior, which clearly prohibit "conduct that threatens or endangers the health or safety of any person within or related to the university community, including physical abuse, threats, intimidation, [or] harassment," all of which the Republican group experienced.

Perhaps Tinmore can research what Winston Churchill said when he stated that the Arabs arrived in droves from their poor surrounding countries when the Jews had jobs for them, unless Tinmore thinks that Churchill was a liar. When you see how many Muslims are flooding into Europe from their poor countries and how the poor Hispanics are crossing our Southern border, one can readily see how that happened with the Arabs. No doubt the British officials in the area themselves recognized what was happening, the same way that any of us here in the U.S. can see for ourselves the population changes in our own towns. One thing I wish Tinmore could explain to us. Why did the UN say that anyone in the area for only two years could be considered a refugee? Living only two years in any area is a very short time for others to claim that you lost all this property you owned plus all the other assets you accumulated in only two years

Somehow I rather doubt that Netanyaho is especially concerned about the findings of some conference in the Kennedy School of Government.

Does it worry you, Jroc?

It shouldn't.

Not as long as Congress is for sale, at least.

Jews long ago learned how to bribe kings, parliments and governments to protect them from the excesses of antisemites.

They're masters at making themselves essantial to the wellbeing of their host nations.

They understand perfectly what motivates most POLS and they know how to get their money's worth when they buy ours, believe me.

Only ENGLAND (not the UK, ENGLAND) is as safely enschoched under the protective umbrella of the USA as our ally as Israel.

So were I a Jew, I wouldn't get too concerned about the rhetoric coming out of any POTUS.

They know what side of their bread is buttered.

There was some truth to what Churchill said. However, from the turn of the century to 1947 the Arab population declined from about 93% to about 65%. So, where are these "droves" that this liar was talking about?

The UN 2 year thing does seem to be arbitrary. There had to be some way to determine who was a Palestinian and who was not. There was, and still is, confusion about who was a Palestinian. Officially, anyone whose normal residence was in the area defined as Palestine when its borders were defined in 1922 were Palestinians. I don't see how anyone could disagree with that definition.

Since then the definition gets tricky. I would say that anyone who went to Palatine to be Palestinian, to be a part of Palestine, and who still claims to be Palestinian is Palestinian.

Anyone else is just a foreigner.

I fail to see why a conference looking for a solution to the Israeli/Jewish problem has to be labeled anti-semitic?

There is no Israeli/Jewish "problem".
Israel is on the news basically everyday.

They are either threatening war or attacking one of their neighboring countries on a continual basis.

So to say there is "no" Israeli/Jewish problem.

Is to blindly ignore the reality of the situation.

Your only problem with Israel is that it's full of Jews. Your only problem with Jews is that they aren't all dead.

You are a liar Daveman.

You will never find a single post of mine advocating genocide of the Jewish people.

I only call for them to renounce and dismantle the apartheid state of so called Israel.

And either move out or become citizens of Palestine.

Perhaps on your planet this is true, but here on Earth Israel is either officially at peace or maintains a state of peace with all the countries in the world. It is threatening to pre empt Iran's efforts to implement its stated goal of destroying the entire state of Israel.

Israel is in the news, in part, because of the Arab/Muslim threats against it and Arab Muslim expressions of hatred of Israel and Jews, and in part because of Israel's remarkable achievements in virtually all areas of human endeavor. The Arabs and Iranians, on the other hand, are in the news because of their hatred of Israel and Jews, of the West in general, their hatreds of each other and oil.

Clearly, there are Arab and Iranian problems the world needs to work on not Israeli or Jewish problems.

Spin it how ever you want.

But Israel is THE problem.

And eventually a "solution" will be found.

The Arabs' and Iranians' irrational hatred of Israel and Jews is the problem, and there is no psychiatrist's office large enough to solve that problem.
