I don’t believe you know what it means to worship, so I doubt you would understand the answer to why we do it.

even if you COULD PROVE (you can't) that YOUR god does exist I have to contend that I would NOT worship such an illogical, irrational, overly punitive asshole.

You have so much confidence and love for yourself that you have never even considered the possibility that you might be wrong so you never even attempted to consider the possibility that spirit created the material world.
