Here's a sample 'Biblical' dialogue about the American Dream between a hypothetical proverbial 'Centurion' and a Christianity-extracted prophetic Babylon 'Harlot.'

The purpose of this dialogue is to highlight a modern age angst about religiosity deterioration.

How can we coordinate proverbs with 'profiteerism realism'?

====

CENTURION: America is the land of daydreams.
HARLOT: Americans romanticize 'dreams deferred,' and money is always safer.
CENTURION: You can do without money but not without dreams.
HARLOT: Dreams are built on security, and money buys security.
CENTURION: The American Dream is an idea about defense of liberty.
HARLOT: America is a capitalist nation of profiteering brutes.
CENTURION: One must not prostitute one's own integrity.
HARLOT: Sometimes, poverty is the only motivation.
CENTURION: True, but even the homeless dream.
HARLOT: Agreed.

Gender Grotto: Goals

Here is the same 'mock dialogue' exchange but told from the perspective of modern gender issues.

====

HARLOT: Do you read the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue?
CENTURION: It's very popular, and I've looked over it before.
HARLOT: Great, so do you think women find it flattering?
CENTURION: I think women find it amusing and not necessarily insulting.
HARLOT: Do you think any women find it insulting?
CENTURION: Yes, I'm sure there are women who find it as evidence of 'objectification.'
HARLOT: Why defend a nation (USA) that supports such 'objectification'?
CENTURION: You have a right to refuse to buy Sports Illustrated.
HARLOT: You also have a right to refuse to seek the services of a Las Vegas prostitute.
CENTURION: You're correct; however, the Bible suggests that commerce requires evaluation!
