Jim Harbaugh is back at his game of making excuses.
In his soon-to-be released book, Harbaugh says about the SEC, “(It’s) hard to beat the cheaters.”.
Not sure what he means by "cheating", as he was talking about recruiting mainly. But the top list of recruiters is not always the ones spending the most.
According to the linked article, Michigan spent $1.39 million in the 2018 recruiting cycle. The most in the Big10, and the sixth highest in the country. Ohio State, by contrast spent the 18th most in the country and had the #2 recruiting class in the nation.
I keep hearing how Harbaugh is the savior of Michigan and the Big 10. But I haven't seen it.
