I can tell by the flag image you don't mean Lebanon, Pennsylvania, home of the world famous Lebanon Bologna and birthplace of ..... The Professor !!

Oh, well.

I was in Beirut when I was part of a Marine communications detachment aboard the USS Pocono (AGC 16) a long time ago. I loved the city.

Obviously he meant Lebanon Tennessee, home of a national chain of hopelessly kitsch-cluttered restaurants that boast breakfast all day and yet can't figure out how to make decent grits (Cracker Barrel).

Happy birthday Lebanon, and we're sorry about fixing that 1957 election that led to a civil war. Really.

Oh wait -- we aren't supposed to know about that... uh, never mind. I didn't post this; I was never here, there is no such thread.
