GAZA, (PIC)-- Prime Minister of the government in Gaza Ismail Haneyya reiterated that the Palestinians would never surrender or recognize the Israeli occupation and would reserve their rights of return, liberty, and statehood.
The statement came as Haneyya welcomed an aid convoy from South Africa dubbed Freedom, which arrived in the Gaza Strip on Thursday evening.
During the meeting, Haneyya thanked those who participated in the convoy, who included activists from across Africa.
He also called for more convoys, underlining the positive impact they have on the Palestinians.
Walid al-Saadi, who headed the convoy as well as a relief society in South Africa, confirmed that more aid convoys including the entire continent of Africa would follow, pointing out the strong level of solidarity for the Palestinians in Africa.
