GAZA, (PIC)-- Palestinian premier Ismail Haneyya received in his office in Gaza city on Monday members of the Miles of Smiles 8 aid convoy that carried medical and humanitarian assistance to the Gaza population.
He said that such convoys carry important messages to the world mainly that the Palestinian people are not alone in face of the Israeli occupation.
Haneyya vowed not to relinquish resistance and asked for continued support.
For his part, Dr. Issam Yousef, the coordinator of the convoy, stressed that solidarity convoys would continue, pledging to convey the Palestinian suffering to the world.
He said that the series of Miles of Smiles convoys had carried 800 solidarity activists who would serve as ambassadors for Palestine in their respective countries.
