Haneyya asks UN to protect Freedom Flotilla II

GAZA, (PIC)-- Palestinian premier in Gaza Ismail Haneyya has denounced the Israeli threats against the humanitarian convoy Freedom Flotilla 2 and asked the UN to provide protection for the fleet.

Haneyya, who was speaking after the Friday congregation in the presence of Miles of Smiles delegates, said that solidarity activists had the right to reach Gaza.

He underlined the persistence of such convoys pointed to the continuation of the Israeli blockade on the beleaguered Strip, and that it was about time to end it.
