Hands up don t shoot did not happen in Ferguson - The Washington Post
It's also annoying that because it may have been legit people feel free to discount the entire history of race based abuse that's systematic in ferguson. That the residents are angry is perfectly understandable, but now they are just mocked because they picked a not perfect angel to rally behind. It's the classic 'defeat a single point and you defeat the entire argument' mindset that's become very prevalent.

"Not a perfect angel"? The guy was a piece of shit. We said so from the start. You guys refused to look at the facts and put your money on a violent criminal. You lost. Deal with it.

In the future, how about you actually produce a REAL incident, instead of making shit up. I cant help but notice how there is NEVER an incident you dumb fucks rally behind that actually involves an innocent black man being killed. Its always some dipship resisting arrest, charging cops, or refusing to drop a weapon. Those retards should be shot dead every time. No exceptions.

Family Pulls Daughter from School After ‘Hands Up Don’t Shoot’ Included
Mediaite ^ | March 19, 2015 | Evan McMurry
Two parents told Fox & Friends Thursday morning that a Black History Month event at their daughter’s Washington, D.C. school turned “anti-cop” when an act addressed Ferguson, to the point that they pulled their daughter. Their daughter was singing in the choir (featuring a Motown medley, natch), when mother Rebecca said she noticed the inclusion of slogans from the Ferguson and Eric Garner protests. “Everywhere that we looked were high school students wearing shirts that said ‘black lives matter,’ ‘I can’t breathe,’” she said, in the clip first spotted by TPM. “As I was flipping through the program it had...

It's news because this phrase is what the American media ran with. They pushed it to the masses, and tried to make everyone believe the man had his hands up and was murdered.
This turned out to be outright false. It needs correcting.

Another Obama failure. With his presidency race relations were going to get better. Well he has made sure they got worse.

A key passage from the report:

Investigators tracked down several individuals who, via the aforementioned media, claimed to have witnessed Wilson shooting Brown as Brown held his hands up in clear surrender.

All of these purported witnesses, upon being interviewed by law enforcement, acknowledged that they did not actually witness the shooting, but rather repeated what others told them in the immediate aftermath of the shooting. … Witness accounts suggesting that Brown was standing still with his hands raised in an unambiguous signal of surrender when Wilson shot Brown are inconsistent with the physical evidence, are otherwise not credible because of internal inconsistencies, or are not credible because of inconsistencies with other credible evidence.

In contrast, Wilson’s account of Brown’s actions, if true, would establish that the shootings were not objectively unreasonable under the relevant Constitutional standards governing an officer’s use of deadly force.

Not at all...we knew this was bull from jump.

Just the most recent entry in a long list of "police brutality" and "I'm innocent, the cops set me up" stories.

Ever hear the fable of the boy who cried wolf?

Eventually, the rest of the town stopped listening.
