In order for them to succeed bringing another Holocaust with their Da'esh friends, they have to deny the previous one.

They had nothing to do with any Jewish suffering during WWII.

And from what I understand, they are not really denying anything, but Jewish lies. They have for example pointed out that there is no credible evidence that even a single Jew was gassed to death. What is wrong with that?

To make my position clear. Anyone who denies any part of the Holocaust, or give support to those who do, is a mindless pustule.

And anyone who claims that millions were marched off to gas chambers and that actual proof of this charge is not needed is a mindless pustule.

"Educators" in Gaza have some hard and fast ideas about education ... it must not be taught!
The Holocaust - according to Hamas - is "a lie made up by the Zionists" which "contradicts and is against our culture, our principles, our traditions, values, heritage and religion" and "harms our history and civilization as well as our people's culture." Really.
Furthermore the teaching of the Holocaust to Palestinian kids represents "a kind of normalization with Israel and an attempt to bridge the psychological gap between Israel and the Palestinians" and went so far as to characterize the possible introduction of the subject into Gaza schools as a "war crime." Yeah ... they actually said that, too.
It is hard to imagine a people as fucked up as these "educators."

Jamila al-Shanti, a Hamas legislative official, said: "Talk about the Holocaust and the execution of the Jews contradicts and is against our culture, our principles, our traditions, values, heritage and religion."

Mustafa al-Sawwaf, editor of the Hamas-run newspaper Filastin, said the U.N. "should also be prevented from implementing this destructive policy that harms our history and civilization as well as our people's culture."

Why do you get to say what should and what should not be taught?

If Hamas or anyone else wishes to teach history based on what is known and point out the known lies with the official story, how is that a problem?

In other words, just because Americans and Europeans are taught to believe the Jewish narrative of WWII, why should that be imposed on the entire planet?

Check this out, a few years back the ADL, themselves pointed out that only 54% of the world has even heard of "the holocaust" and out of those who have heard the term, only 33% buy it.

So, why all the whining about those who don't believe in the so-called "nakba"?

Both are historical fact. I don't understand the arguments.

I think it is an interesting issue:
If both Nabka and the Holocaust are treated as historical events, yet questioned in terms of interpretation and accuracy of depictions.

Then why is holocaust denial punished by jail as a crime?

People are allowed to dismiss the Nabka and say one group or another had claim to the land first and the other came in afterwards anyway, etc.

If people have the right to free speech and free choice of what to believe about history, why is one incident criminalized unlike any other?

Isn't that reminiscent of days of punishing people if they contested geocentric models and claimed heliocentric theories instead? Or killing people if they don't proclaim Christian or Islamic faith ?

If someone doesn't believe that Islamic or Palestinian people suffered oppression or genocide historically, that's their choice or their problem.

But if they question or deny the holocaust it's punishable by law?

Isn't that like laws against blasphemy of Mohammad being punishable by death, which is challenged in free nations as an issue of religious freedom and freedom of speech not to impose or enforce religious beliefs through secular govt which is supposed to be neutral of religious beliefs!
