Warren Buffett Congratulating Israeli Stef Wertheimer On Winning Dun & Bradsteet Leadership Excellence Award, Founder, Israeli Iscar In Which Mr. Buffett Has Invested $4 Billion.

Dun & Bradstreet couldn't have made a better choice and it's particularly impressive when someone is chosen for that award in Israel because the talent level is so high.

If you go to the Middle East looking for oil, you don't need to stop in Israel. But, if you're looking for brains, for energy, for integrity, for imagination, it's the only stop you need to make

Israel has 120 companies listed on NASDAQ, right behind the US. Turkey, not even one

Turkey is a turkey

Turkish companies don't need American investors and don't need to enter American stock market. Istanbul is regional finance center and Istanbul Stock Exchange has bought stock-exchanges of Bosnia, Azerbaijan, Kyrgizistan and wants to expand further by acquisitions.

Deutsche Börse and Istanbul Stock Exchange join hands
Germany and Turkey (...) to cooperate on the level of joint indices and product development in order to support a closer cooperation between both financial centers, Frankfurt and Istanbul.
Deutsche Börse Group - Media Relations

Tel Aviv is kindergarten with tiny daily transactions, that's why Israeli companies go to NASDAQ and American market.
Maybe Istanbul Stock Exchange should buy Tel-Aviv.

The country has attracted global tech giants such as Intel, IBM, Microsoft, and Motorola, which run major engineering centers there, but also has produced scores of homegrown innovators such as Teva, the world's largest generic drugmaker. turkey has no IT sector.

Really?
Israeli IT market will have a value of US$4.9bn in 2010
Market Report, "Israel Information Technology Report Q4 2010", published | PRLog

Turkish information technologies sector grew about 10 percent in 2009, increasing its market size to 21 billion and it is expected to grow further by nearly 30 percent in 2010.
UK Trade & Investment

Alone the annual growth in 2010 (~6.3 Billion $) of Turkish IT-market is bigger than whole Israeli IT market.
Turkish IT market is multiple times bigger than Israel's and just a 1-year growth in Turkey is more than your whole IT-market size.
