Day of the kids' after-Halloween party she asked me to make cookies for has arrived. Batter's made and chilling a bit in the freezer. Noticing some people in the clubhouse where it'll be I got a twinge of fear it had started. Asked the manager when they had it reserved for and she said 9-11am. Which is now. AAAIIEEEEE! Walking over to the clubhouse sweating bullets I broke my word to a little girl she and her sisters and Dad were setting up or taking down the decorations. Nervously I inquired, "Has this happened yet? Only just made the batter." - "No no, not until 7pm. We reserved it just for set up." Long story short I'm not going to hell. ...So I got that going for me.
