In Islam a man or woman who is physically ill doesn't have to participate in certain religious functions.

Also, a woman who is having her monthly period is exempt from all prayers and religious duties.

what if she only has the "PMS" but isnt on the "period" still exempt?, What if the man is having a Prostate pain, or some other disaster, is he exempt too>?

If a person is sick, anywhere from the flu to a serious disease can be exempt.

Women are only exempt during the time of the blood flow.

PMS doesn't count. Otherwise some women would never pray!!
