Why is it cons are so quick to call for employing military power especially when both of Bush's wars remain unfinished not to mention who's going to pay for your brilliant idea of putting more servicemen in harm's way?

It's not about absolutely employing military power. It's about coming out and making a damn clear statement either way. It's about showing that you're on top of things.

Listen to what is coming out of the mans mouth....One day he says he fears Khaddafi is winning, and then he comes out and states that the noose is tightening. Well, It looks as though from what we are seeing, the rebels are fleeing their positions in droves. Khaddafi's forces are gaining back control.......How does that equate to the "noose is tightening"?

I don't think the man has the balls to state a desire either way. He doesn't seem to know what to say.......It's very easy to break it down into laymans terms:

"Look, it's not our fight. We're staying out of it"

"Look, we're going to go in with the UN and allies, and establish a No fly to help the rebels in their cause"

Today he comes out and states, "we are ready to assist"

We won't sacrifice any planes. Our military is so superior to Libya's, it' be like a 5th grader fighting a collegiate boxing champion. Besides, Naval ships could likely take out air defense from sea with missile strikes.

But the bottom line is, Obama doesn't wanna be called a hypocrite, and he has a weird, creepy symptom of sympathy from his affiliations with Wright/Farrakhan, both of whom are friends of Ghaddafi.
