Gutierrez Ousted

For those who haven't heard, Ecuadorian President Lucio Gutierrez was ousted by a unanimous vote from the Ecuadorian Congress (62-0). He is now seeking asylum in neighboring countries, but nobody wants him and he is in custody. While this is, in the long run, good (Gutierrez was a tyrant), it is causing large amounts of unrest in an already troubled country. One of my best friends is from Ecuador and is returning home after this year to attend a very selective graduate school there, so this issue really touches me. Keep Ecuador in your prayers if you pray and your thoughts if you don't.
