We have laws in place now. Criminals don't follow laws anyway, so making it harder for good people to get guns doesn't do a thing to stop violence. Knowing that criminals will never be restricted since most don't buy guns legally just makes it more necessary for citizens to be able to protect themselves.

The left would hurt peoples' ability to protect themselves.

In the Fast and Furious scam, they deliberately supplied weapons to people that they knew were dangerous. The left pretends that gun shops knowingly do the same, but it isn't true.

It's a dangerous world. The dangerous criminals and crazy people don't really need guns to do damage, but guns are the best protection against any home invaders.
