Yep. You hit the nail on the head. Taking away the rights of responsible gun owners will do nothing to stop crime, but it does take away the ability to protect oneself from an assault on them, their family, and their home.
My guns didn't kill anybody today, because their owner isn't mentally ill. Taking my guns away will not promote the mental health of a criminal.
This is a Democratic agenda to put us under the rule of the U.N. Refuse to comply.

The guy killed his ex- coworkers because he bought into the radical leftwing rhetoric. He saw racism everywhere, refused to blame himself for his failed career and wanted to get even with whitey.
Here are a few of the complaints by the shooter, who accused his coworkers of being racist:
They used the phrase 'being out in the field.' Of course, we all know that means reporters are out of the studio interviewing or investigating. He claimed they were referring to cotton fields.
He also had a problem with the reporter saying something about swinging by some place. I suppose he saw that as comparing him to a monkey. He is just emulating some black leaders who see racism everywhere. No white can possibly be innocent.
I am forever disgusted with the left's ability to turn anything into racism in order to place the blame on others. When the lunatic shot those people in the church, it was racism and the guy was crazy.
When this guy shot his former co-workers, that made him just as crazy and guilty as the guy who shot the people in the church, but the left tried to blame the victims.
There is zero evidence that anyone at the studio was racist, not that it would be a reason for cold-blooded murder. The left wants to justify black on white crime no matter what the circumstances. This is how you start a race war. Blame all whites regardless of facts and absolve blacks of all responsibility by excusing their behavior and blaming the victims. What happens is that even when a cop or would-be victim shoots in self-defense, we have riots. And when a black kills whites, cries of racism continues as if they were pushed into it.
