We learned just recently that the Sandy Hook police knew about the shooter making threats to murder teachers and students...and they told the person who told them this there was nothing they could do....
Now we learn that the California shooter had been visited by police several times for erratic behavior with guns....and when he didn't answer the door, they just left.....
This is the thing, anti gunners........law abiding people owning guns .....not the problem....the government...your god.....is the problem.....they are the ones not arresting violent gun criminals, they are the ones letting violent gun criminals back on the street, and they are the ones failing to put the records of criminals into the background check system.....
So ....... arrest gun criminals, and leave normal gun owners alone......morons.
Police knew 'madman' had guns before killing rampage
At a tense news conference, police conceded that neighbors had repeatedly complained about Kevin Neal firing hundreds of rounds from his house among other erratic and violent behavior.
Tehama County Assistant Sheriff Phil Johnston said authorities responded to neighbors’ calls several times, but the 44-year-old Neal wouldn’t open the door, so they left.
“He was not law enforcement friendly. He would not come to the door,” Johnston said. “You have to understand we can’t anticipate what people are going to do. We don’t have a crystal ball.”
On Tuesday, Neal shot and killed five people and wounded at least eight others at different locations around the rural community of Rancho Tehama Reserve. Police later shot and killed him.
