At the rate we're headed, the day may come when you are actually faced with making that dreaded decision.
It's easy to say what you will or won't do when there's no danger.

Totally different scenario when they're actually at your door, telling you in person with a heavily armed team to hand em over.

By the time it comes down to that, they will have already had massive intimidation campaigns that have run for years with ultimatums and deadlines to turn them in without facing life in prison etc. Most will cave in to the intimidation. You may find there's no backup in sight.
