This could have long term effects on wildlife living in the immediate areas of larger wind farms.

It could also affect regional weather patterns as warmer areas affect the formation of cloud and even wind speeds.

The estimated change from man made global warming is much larger than the actual change, so the fact that the actual change from a wind farm is smaller than the estimated change from AGW is about as significant as the fact that actual size of a pea is smaller than the estimated size of T-Rex. Let's see how localized and small the effect is after a few years. After all, the effect of a cola power plant on the environment is localized, and small, but all those little changes eventually accumulate into something larger, and they disrupt weather patters, and even change the climate.

Ok, the mills mix the air layers. That does not change the overall heat content of the air, only changes the distribution. Now a big coal burning plant creates heat through the oxidization of the coal. So that is heat created. Then it spew CO2 into the air, which increases the amount of heat retained in the atmosphere. For every ton of coal burned, 2 and 1/2 tons of CO2 is created.

Second point, are you going to shut down the big wind mills the ochardists use to mix the air during frost periods?

The big turbines have far less affect on weather than does the burning of fossil fuels.

Not a whiff of evidence CO2 causes temps to rise. If there were the temps would be going up continuously...which they aren't. Hanson said they would inexorably go up if CO2 rose higher than his worst case scenario. The CO2 levels have tisen HIGHER than Hanson ever dreamed and looky here, temps have stayed constant for over 10 years.

Temps ARE going up ALMOST continuously as there are no longer any cooling cycles. We get a warming cycle, then in place of the normal cooling cycle we get a relatively flat cycle, and then the next warm cycle begins at about the same place where the last warm cycle left off.

That is what you clowns have been claiming the whole time. We have been saying that this is nothing more than a normal climate cycle and you all claimed that "no way CO2 is driving the bus now and cycles have no say in it. What, exactly, am I wrong about? The climate models all predict a sharp upward temperature trend with the increase in carbon dioxide and water vapor. They lay out a feedback loop where the higher CO2 causes warmer temperatures and more H2O in the atmosphere, which causes higher temperatures, which causes...

The actual results are a bit different than the models. The CO2 is going up as fast as the models predicted, but the temperature is not going up as fast as it should, and the increase in water vapor is almost non existent. None of this means that climate change is not occurring, or that man is not contributing to it, it just means we really don't understand the process. Strangely enough, some scientist, including James Lovelock, are willing to admit this.
