Grover Norquist

More than stupid since the repubs sign pledges with this guy. I dont know what adjective you'd use but if it was a George Soros quote you'd shit your pants

And the Democrats pledge with Warren Buffet to RAISE taxes on the citizens of this country, so much so they named the damn thing after him..

really give us all a break..

Two lies in one sentence. Very right of you. First off, the Democrats made no such pledge, liar. Second, the plan that Buffet supports does not raise taxes on citizens. Buffet proposed that the tax system become more fair and a touch more progressive on a very small number of people (who knows their citizenship).

well you used an oxymoron. progressive and fair? does not compute, not logical captain

Wait, it's bits pasted together but he did say it. Of course he said more in a 4 minute clip but he did say those things. Deny it all you want.

When you divorce words from the other words they went with to change the context and then call it a quote is when you are desperate. But, whatever makes you happy dude, keep living in fantasy land.

The context wasnt changed. He said those things and instead of denying he said it you play the context game. Want to know why there wasnt a quote of the 4 minute speech? Because that wouldnt be a quote, it would be a transcript.

You've replied several times and even you cannot say that he was misquoted, instead you whine about skipping quote length

Yes, the context was changed, anyone with more than half a brain that listened to the video would know that. So, paste the transcript then and let everyone read what he said for themselves instead of cutting and pasting, i.e. lying about what he said to make a non-existant point.

He was misquoted, only diehard loons would think otherwise.

Doesnt Norquist understand we need higher taxes, increased deficits , more spending, expanded borrowing and better funded social programs for those in want.........

Just because Grover said it...means nothing.

A Norquist SMACK-DOWN!!

"We are so far in debt that if you don’t give up some ideological ground, the country sinks,” Graham said. He seemed to suggest that he’d allow the expiration of the Bush tax cuts, which contributed $1.8 trillion to the deficit over the past decade. “When you talk about eliminating deductions and tax credits for the few, at the expense of the many,” said Graham, “I think over time the Republican Party’s position is going to shift.”

Graham isn’t the only one who has changed his mind about the pledge, but he is one of the most prominent. A number of additional members of Congress, citing the urgency of the country’s fiscal situation, have shifted positions as well."

Norquist is pro-gay marriage and pro-amnesty.
Americans for Tax Reform : Norquist Statement on Passage of the Senate Immigration Bill

David Koch, the "evil" king of "1 percenters", is pro-gay marriage for at least 10 years. Before it was fashionable.

There is a huge difference between this kind of anti-tax Republicans and southern social conservatives.

Just an example. According to the 2012 national exit poll, the level of public support for higher taxes on the wealthy was very similar in NY, the North East and Deep South states.
