It appears that the trouble here is the more seem to join and replace those who were killed. It's too bad that the Muslim clergy don't have sermons about there being no virgins waiting in the Islamic cathouse in the sky. Maybe this would dissuade many from joining up because they wouldn't be looking forward to this supposedly great life if they die here on Earth as martyrs.

As many as 15,000 ISIS terrorists have been killed in air strikes led by the U.S. and its allies over the past year, an independent group following the war against the Islamic State said Monday. The group, called Airwars.org,archives reports on the war and keeps a running total of the number of terrorists and civilians killed, and how many attacks have taken place.

The campaign against the Islamic State officially began just about a year ago. During that time, there have been 5,837 air strikes against the territory that ISIS has been holding – 3,570 in Iraq alone, as well as 2,267 in Syria. An estimated 15,000 terrorists have been killed during that time by the 12 known coalition countries the U.S. has recruited to fight ISIS. Nearly 17,000 bombs and missiles have ben used in those attacks.

This is roughly the equivalent of a division. The stats seem like a poor result per missile/bomb; less that one kill per. At that price, we could just pay 'jihadists' to stay home.

The problem is that the pilots are told not to drop any bombs unless they are absolutely sure that those they are targeting are ISIS members. Perhaps if their hands weren't tied, more air strikes would have been accomplished. Anyhow, since these missions are very expensive, perhaps drones should be used instead. The U.S. is using drones from the base in Turkey.

Surely, it is very hard to figure out if those are ISIS members. Maybe someone should go as Islamist to the IS and suggest larger flags because they are so nice :D

Yes, I am sure they are walking around waving their flags all the time when they are among the civilians in the area. Only a fool like you would believe that. Sadly, the coalition has killed civilians when trying to get at ISIS and that is why each mission is not carried out to fruition. The difference here is that your beloved Assad doesn't tell his helicopter pilots not to drop barrel bombs when there are civilians in the area.

When the Nato was Al-Qaeda´s airforce in Libya the army was beaten within 8 months. What does this tell us?

It tells us that your idol should make some accommodations to the opposition so that fewer people will die. Say, Little Boy, did NATO give Al Qaeda free tickets to the movies plus a free Mac?

There cannot be more accommodations. Islamists are free to apply Sharia law when nobody is affected who does not want it. However, he cannot allow the Islamists to murder, rape and plunder.
