Austin T.X.
I'm not exactly a "brand new" member - I've been around for a few weeks, but I feel like I should leave a mark here anyway.

I'm a Texan and currently an undergrad in UT Austin. I joined the board because I think politics is fun and I heard this is one of best political forums. In terms of positions: I am a moderate conservative or "right-leaning independent", which is somewhat rare among people of my age. With respect to the unusual election this year, I am a Trump supporter (surprise ^_^?).

The past few weeks here are absolutely amazing, most members on the board are friendly, knowledgeable and resourceful. I'm very happy that I made the decision to join the board, and I look forward to learning more from you guys!

You've been here a while, and want to stay?

How do you type with your hands contained like that?

th

BTW, Welcome

Welcome aboard. Thanks for joining us. I hope that you enjoy your stay and have fun.

A few keys to remember when discussing politics:

(1) Honesty and politicians mix like water and oil
(2) Legislation and policy are commodities, bought and sold on the floors of Congress, and in the oval office
(3) Republicans and Democrats are on the same team, they just wear different jerseys at game time
(4) "The Washington Brotherhood" is an entity unto itself, answerable to no one except itself
(5) Once elected to office, professional politicians exert their will, and not the will of the people
(6) The wealthy, the powerful, and the influential determine the path and direction of this country
(7) To the United States Government, citizens are nothing more than a source of revenue and votes
(8) To the three branches of government, the United States Constitution is nothing more than a leaning post when needed

Enjoy good conversations and debates. Again, welcome aboard friend.

Just telling it like it is my friend. Just stating the obvious. I believe it's all common knowledge. Did I leave anything out? Did I include something that's false and / or incorrect?

Welcome, Tex. A word of caution: If you want to collect the bounty on Progressive Liberal Socialist pukes - (Democraps), you have to bring the left ear in for redemption. Carry on.

Rule # 1: No lame Aggie jokes. If you violate this rule, certain people will be notified ... very bad people ...

I have told you a thousand times I am a very bad cat, not people.

Teach a cat to hunt and turn them loose as I always say.
