GREEN SCAM: 80% of Green Energy Loans Went to Obama Donors – 19 Companies Went Bust (

80% of Big Oil's political contributions go to Republicans.

Calling bullshit....Link?
And suppose they do? SO what?
Is it a crime for an industry to contribute to the party that benefits that industry the most?
Warning...Choose your answer very carefully. Pretend their is an anvil above your head which is hanging by a rope with significant fraying.
In other words, if you don't come clean, you will get your clock cleaned.
You may be wise to back off on your contribution argument.

I don't like the idea that a company can donate 10 million to a politician and later get a grant/loan/contract for 1 billion... I also don't like it when it's the federal Government giving that money to companies that are outside the powers given to congress.

SO it’s prolly illegal in 99% of the cases yes.

I say investigate this further and watch the law of unintended consequences take effect. It will be fun to watch.

Romney needs to send the DoJ after Obamination and his goons like Chu for fraud against the American people. It is a crime to kickback Govt contracts to political supporters.

Since conservatives generally don't give a shit about the environment, and since conservatives generally reject the ideas or merits of green energy,

OF COURSE they wouldn't be the ones owning, operating, or investing in green energy companies.

Get it?

You're right. I for one hate clean water and air. Every time I see my neighbor pull up in her vehicle with her four kids and cigarette smoke billows out, I applaud. There's nothing quite like four more asthmatics added to the welfare rolls that says "Fuck the environment."

Standard GOP wing nut attitude.

He's mocking you, you moron.

Have you ever even tried thinking for yourself?

Liberals do not think. They are guided entirely by their emotions.
You racist!!

Right, USMB lefties?

Do you want to make that illegal?

60%-80% of the bigwigs on Wall Street donated to Obamination in 2008. Oh, that's ok....right?

FYI...they are now giving more to Romney than Obamination because they now know the messiah is an idiot and an enemy of the economy. They hedged their bets with the black messiah in 2008, but now they are in surival mode to get rid of him.

Sadly that is the case for most "conservatives" today.

Depends on your definition or perception of "conservative".

I agree, just as it depends on your definition of liberal. I know many liberals that are more conservative than Republicans for the simple reason that they want less or no wars (the kind of wars America has done since WW2) while at the same time being very willing to cut spending. "Conservatives" usually want to cut minor spending at best while keeping military spending at all time highs... That can't possibly balance the budget, not even close.

Very few conservatives want to do away with SS,MC,MC and so on. But most conservatives are fine with ending food stamps... While none are constitutional I find it odd that "conservatives" will fully support the biggest (by far) of the social spending programs while offering to cut the smallest (by far) of the social programs that wouldn't even pt a dent in the growing deficits.

I try to stay away from "liberal" and "conservative" being used as a broad brush. I usually try and say "Liberals like you" or "Conservatives" like you.

A company cannot donate that much to a candidate....
The donation is not the problem. It's the payback.
For example, the payback to the UAW by Obama, for their undying support of his candidacy.
Any time a contributor to an individual candidate or to a PAC or party results in a "favor" from an elected office holder, IMO that should be prosecuted as a crime.
In any event, legislation that prohibits large contributors to offer donations is a violation of free speech guarantees.

The green part is all the money being made by using taxpayer money.

I would love to see Obama go down for this. All of them the scum.

I wonder how many will actually believe this and how many will spin it?? Obama's entire presidency has been to "repay" his "investors" aka the people that contributed to his campaign.

Pelosi has done the same thing for years, her brother-in-law has profited big from the idiots in California that keep voting for her. "Greenbacks" run rampant in politics, especially on the Dem side.

Wasn't that what the stimulus was all about?

Like all progressive organizations, when you have no principles to stand on, it’s easy to call out Republican Senators for taking “Big Oil” money while at the same time ignoring the Progressive Senators. If all these anti business organizations had any credibility at all, they’d be demanding that their Progressive Champions return all this “Big Oil” money. We know that won’t happen."
