I can only keep my trash for about a week. Seems someone is stealing it in the early morning hours every tuesday.

It is curious that those who are determine to save the planet from global warming don't personally invest in alternative energy. I see very few houses powered my solar panels or personal wind turbines, or hybrids or moped/scooters.

I would think the stench would be too much and eventually violate some local housing/safety/health codes as his neighbors start getting a whiff.

Yes I am going to vote for Obama and yes I want to tax the rich, I may even be a bit of a socialist

BUT​

I am so absolutely done with the left’s obsession with the environment. To me stuff like this is just like driving an Escalade, the guy only does it to show off! Look, there are plenty of places in America that we have to dump our garbage and when those are full I am sure the Canadians would be happy to sell us thousands of acres of tundra to turn into landfills.

I like to recycle where it make some economic sense, Aluminum is a no brainer because it is expensive, dirty and energy intensive to change bauxite to Aluminum, but come on. The market has been forcing us to recycle steel since the 19th century and there is nothing wrong with that.

Oh, and don’t Make me go off on hybrids, every time I see a Pompous…I mean Prius I just want to puke. It’s just a way for lefties to show other lefties how green they are. The Prius requires a new power pack after 100,000 miles (its a disposable car), can electrocute an emergency responder using the jaws of life, and uses extremely toxic heavy metals in its power pack that will need to be disposed of…and not in a land fill either. All for a car that gets the same gas mileage as an 82 Rabbit diesel?

Chevrolet, quit with the Tahoe hybrid, next summer gas will be $2.00 per gallon and you will have a ton of these taking up space on your lots when everyone want Trucks with 7.0 liter V-10s again. You can’t afford to waste development dollars on these and America can’t afford to bail you out!

There are plenty of fuel efficient cars and trucks out there if you want them. My best advice on driving green is learn how to drive a G’ dam stick shift and go with the smaller engine. But this is America and it’s my inalienable right to buy a Corvette, i.e. a 2 seat car with 7.0 liters of pushrod V-8 and a 6 speed manual.

I want a bumper sticker that says:

“They can have my 7.0 liter V-8 when they pry it from my cold dead hands!”​
