Police, military and their families, fire/EMS, ER staff should be honored for the service they do. Every american should want to shake their hand and say thank you.
Over 19 trillion in debt, not enough jobs, high taxes, jobs sent overseas, over priced and limited heath(obama)care, lower home ownership, poor infrastructure despite years of promises and higher taxes, cut backs on military readiness, open attacks on law enforcement, racial/sexual divides, terrorism, greater heroin and crack abuse, bad foreign trade deals...........................
Why shouldn't people be dissatisfied with the status quo and want change?
Everything is not hunky dory and the US is not full of happiness and sunshine.
Even under the best, which we are not, circumstances there is always room for making things better. Why do some want stagnant governing and more of the same?
Why should any want another 4-8 yrs of the same playbook. We should all want a better more thoughtful and better budgeted playbook everyone can understand and benefit from.
Elections are about improvement and change, about a better america, status, leadership.
Even for the few that are somewhat satisfied, it can always be improved for the greater good.
Black president, woman candidate, non politician businessman, etc., just being the first, or almost, should not be a reason for a vote, nor belonging to some far left or right party establishment for decades.
Every four years the country should look forward beyond just the next few years but for generations to come.
