Outdoor thermometer says below freezing ... OK, the weather people didn't lie. They also say snow for tonight, tomorrow. They've said that before. We'll see.

Must go pick up scrip renewal ... don't want to go outside.

Leggings on - check;
jeans on - check;
shirt on - check;
cotton socks on - check;
fuzzy thick socks on - check;
mmmmmrghfp, mmmmmrghfp - feet stuffed into shoes - check;
thick wool sweater on - check;
wool scarf around neck - check;
heavy coat on - check;
stupid looking wool cap on - check.

Looks in mirror.

The weather people didn't lie about the snow ... we're getting it. My daughter got about a block or so from home before she came up on two vehicles right together sideways across the road ... and a big fuel truck was right behind her. She ditched her car onto the lawn of the nursing home next to where we live - no injuries, no damage. The fuel truck got stopped, then the driver got out and got the two sideways vehicles off the road as well. My baby walked home and called her boyfriend to get her car when he got off work. She refused to go to work altogether. Smart girl. There is no such thing as a flat straight road where we live.

As for Granny ... I'm barricaded inside and have a really big pot of chili cooking.
