For those of us who are old enough to remember 'The Munsters'. Al Lewis played 'Grandpa', the cigar smoking wise cracking vampire father-in-law of Herman Munster.

I have the 1st season of the series on DVD and still enjoy it...

Conclusion: Cigar smoking is healthier than feminism.

Cigar smoking, cyanide, Ebola, nuclear fallout, eating raw chicken, running with scissors, vitamin deficiency, scurvy, vermin and drunk driving COMBINED are better for you than radical feminism.

I wonder how much these people really contributed to the advancement of women. "The Feminine Mystique" was published in 1963, the Civil Rights Act of 1964 made sexual discrimination illegal. I can't believe that Betty Friedan's book had much to do with the latter.

Women went to work on a large scale in the 1960s and 1970s, but then, economics also made that happen. My mother worked because my family needed the extra paycheck, as did many women that came here from Italy. Also, women entered college in increasing numbers.
