Govt wont allow Bible reading in school; Encourages it in prison; Ironic, right?

Bucs point, I think, is that the state prison is still a state institution.
Just like a school, it's funded by taxpayers money.

Preachers preach sermons and lead prayers.

Where are the cries of:

And there is a world of difference between public schools and prison.

Buc's "point" started with a falsehood.

What makes it a "public" school is that it is "publicly" funded.

No prayer in schools.
No nativity scenes on the courthouse lawn.
No 10 commandments in the courthouse.

But preachers leading sermons and open prayer in "State" prisons is ok.

Where's the falsehood?

The falsehood is that bibles are banned in schools. They aren't. You can even have bible study classes in public schools.

In the 1963 Supreme Court case of Abington School District v. Schempp, the Court ruled that public schools cannot initiate devotional reading of the Bible. However, Justice Clark, writing the majority opinion also stated: “It certainly may be said that the Bible is worthy of study for its literary and historic qualities.”

Did you know that the military has chaplains?

It all depends. There was a student forced to remove their crucifix because it was considered gang related. Idiotic. http://www.usatoday.com/news/religion/2008-03-16-rosaries-gangs_N.htm
