    Yes, I guess the fact that there's only 24 hours a day should be ignored now that Obama is president and everyone wants INSTANT results on all issues dear to their hearts.

    The plan commits $700 million to bolster Mexican law enforcement and crime prevention efforts. The funds will provide, among other things, five new helicopters to increase mobility for the Mexican army and air force as well as new surveillance aircraft for the Mexican navy.

    I'm perfectly willing to have our government spend 700 million American tax dollars for American law enforcement and American crime prevention efforts. The U.S. Border Patrol could certainly use five new helicopters and new surveillance aircraft.

    Let the Mexicans pay for their own assets. Our tax dollars shouldn't be used to bring them into the 21st century.

    In case you haven't noticed, we have thrown money at "border security" hand over fist, and just as in the "war on drugs", we have failed miserably. Why not give some money to the folks on the other side of the border and see if they can breed success where we have failed?

    This money is going to Mexico They've never made any effort to stop illegals so do the math
