I start next week. I worked there before for 2 years . Decided to go to work to put more money in the savings because with this president who knows what will happen. Working for Mail order pharmacy. Best part I can work from home.. I will be taking calls to fill peoples prescriptions, do their claims, prior authorizations ect .. It is a stressfull job because when people dont get their viagra on time they yell lol

Oh and what is nice , they are going to start me off what I was making when I left which is awesome

Mail order pharmacy?

It is a Pharmacy benefits Manager. Express scripts. I dont know what kind of pharmacy insurance you have but some maintenance meds you can get a 3 months supply through mail for like one copay instead of of 3 months of copay .. Other PBM is Medco.. I am not actually filling the RX. I just put in the request through the computer it will send that request to the pharmacy in PA, St Louis , or Tempe AZ depending where the RX is filled based on their insurance. Like Tricare is all filled in AZ . AARP is all filled in PA ect .. I also deal with billing questions, getting prior auths, tell them what pharmacies are in their network if they are going to a local one.. Tell them what is on their formulary or if their are generics for the RX they are taking..

So basically I sit on the computer all day , take calls , get yelled at if they dont have their RX on time ..

Sounds like a wonderful job - no commute, no 'office politics', no wardrobe requirements - what's not to love?

The 'scrips by mail' thing is an awesome idea! We used to get our meds through Medco and they did a fine job for us.

We've changed insurance since, but still get scrips by mail. Even the replacement elements for my husband's C-PAP machine.
