The filibuster, and the number of votes required to stop one, were never a matter of law. They were always Senate rules, which is why Harry Reid so easily changed them.

Thus it is perfectly legal, and always has been, for the majority party to tell the minority party to pound sand when it comes to appointing judges.

Well History has it that the Democrats push the option threw the Senate to "fast track" the Judges that they wanted to put on the High Court. The Rep did not like the idea, but the Progressive did it anyway. Now that the table is turned the Progressives no long like the idea. I guess it was a good idea with it was their party was in charge. What goes around comes around.

I figured out that to review the 400,000 memos being reviewed it would take 3000 people reading 100 a day to finish the stack up in about two years. This is knowing that many if not all have about min, of 12 pages of reading. I think the total reading is more in the area of 700k of docs. That is a lot of paper to read.
