Gore: "Deniers are like racists!!

/---/ Nice try at twisting my words. FAIL
Well since you don't realize it, what I said you said will be your future argument. After you can no longer deny man made climate change, you'll shift your argument to

"well what can we do about it everyone else is doing it too".

Funny thing is, you're using the exact argument I use when I defend Al Gore. Remember back then you guys said he had 5 homes and flew on private jets? As if he's a hypocrite???

Well you are making the argument I made for him. What can America do about it when China and India aren't following the rules too.

So then you admit you realize Gore can't fix this by himself. It has to be mandated that we all go Green. We have to do it collectively. Same way we do on a global scale. Yes, China needs to stop destroying the planet too. We should go green and only do business with countries who are green too. Good idea!

/----/ When was the climate at the ideal level and not changing?
When human air pollution started affecting the atmosphere and air???

Republicans never deny that our air pollution is causing cancer and we could save money and lives by going green. So forget about global warming. Just focus on how going green will mean better lives for you and the people you love. Or are you against clean air and water now too?

Don't go to school for climate science. You'll fail out.
did you go to school for climate science? Suuuuuurrrreeee you did. I went to school for an education and it taught me to watch for idiots like you. And bingo, there you are.

I'd prefer if you just stated what problem you're trying to solve.

In recent years, leaders of the Republican Party have become aware that denying the existence of global warming makes them look like idiots. Changes in climate have become obvious, not just to scientists, but to ordinary people — they can be directly measured, with such exotic instruments as a “thermometer.” Majorities of every group except the most conservative Republicans believe it is happening.

Denying visible, tangible reality is a dicey business, even for the modern US right. It makes the party look like a death cult. So Republican climate-communication strategy has undergone something of an adjustment.

Not a large adjustment, mind you. The GOP remains dead set against doing anything about climate change, against any policy that would threaten the profits of fossil fuel companies. That is the non-negotiable baseline.

But front-line, hardcore denialism of the “it’s a hoax” variety has largely receded to the base. Republican leaders and spokespeople have moved back to the next line of defense: Yes, the climate is changing, but we don’t know to what extent humans are responsible.

Professional double-talker Marco Rubio, senator from the climate-battered state of Florida, ran a version of this on CNN’s Jake Tapper show earlier this month.

Then the next argument will be "We know it's real but what can we do about it when China and India won't?"

Then the argument, ultimately, will be, who's got to pay for these companies to go green. Republicans will remind us that these corporations will just shift the costs on to us.

Yea, and?

We had 2 weeks of 80's and 90's in Michigan early April. It was great. Fort Lauderdale residents are under water. Historic floods. Fema's involved. 5 years later are you still denying global warming is real?

I have never denied that the climate changes, dumbass.

I claim man has no impact on the global level.

Local level, yes. Global, no.

/---/ Nice try at twisting my words. FAIL

/----/ " Not the worlds largest polluters."
That would be India and China, both who get a pass in the Paris Accord.

So you are no longer a global warming denier. Congrats. Now your new argument is, "whataboutism". What about China and India.

Or there's nothing we can do about it. And ultimately, who's going to pay for it.

Another NEW argument is the one you just made. Nothing we can do about it? What about China and India? Those are your new arguments. Please tell jc456 he is coming across as a fool denying man made climate change.

You are not pointing to any sort of reality. You are pointing to individual weather events and making stupid claims. The reality is NOTHING you are pointing to as evidence of global warming is actually evidence.

They are merely the normal occurrences that have been witnessed throughout time.

And, this is going to really piss you off, the climate we are experiencing now, is the NICEST it has been, both stability wise, and power of storm wise, in over 125 years.

You need to read about the climate from the past. You are so powerfully ignorant of the true facts it is painful to watch.

You're being obtuse. You deny man made global climate change. Not too many of you left.

You are stupid. There IS no evidence for man made global warming. You ARE an anti science religious nut job.

Ok forget GW. Do you want to extend all our lives 2.2 years?

Yeah, they don't affect the environment, so your whole premise is exposed as a scam.

Oh, look. Yet another opinion piece devoid of science.

Are you going to deny this science too?

In the early weeks of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, doctors noticed a surprising silver lining: Americans were having fewer heart attacks.

One likely reason, according to an analysis published last month by researchers at the University of California, San Francisco, is that people were inhaling less air pollution.

Millions of workers were staying home instead of driving to work. Americans were suddenly burning a lot less gas. And across the country, the researchers found that regions with larger drops in pollution also had larger drops in heart attacks.

air pollution cuts 2.2 years off the average human life.

That is opinion. It is devoid of science. Look at the language they use. They don't say "this did that, or health improved because of this" they say "likely ". That is a weasle word. When they use language like that they are not being scientific.

Look up the scientific method and get back to us when you understand what it means.

What? We want them to eventually go along too.

They do affect the environment.

Just like Al Gore couldn't fix GW alone by selling 4 of his 5 homes and not flying on private jets, the USA can't do this alone.

Trump's withdrawal increased the carbon price for other countries while reducing its own carbon price. When the withdrawal took effect, the U.S. was the only UNFCCC member states who was not a signatory to the Paris Agreement.

The Russian Federation participates in the implementation of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (hereinafter - the Convention), the Kyoto Protocol of December 11, 1997 and the Paris Agreement of December 12, 2015.

As of February 2023, 194 states and the EU, representing over 98% of global greenhouse gas emissions, have ratified or acceded to the Agreement, including China and the United States, the countries with the 1st and 2nd largest CO2 emissions among UNFCCC members.
