Gore Bails On Cophenhagen

Gore will be wearing a Nixon mask next Halloween. Over Nixon's forehead will read:

"I AM NOT A CROOK"

I think this along with Jon Stewart's recent statement will add pressure to the Warmers...once Colbert flips, I think you can turn the lights out on the Warmers, which is good because it will reduce their Carbon Footprint as they sulk in the dark

The US has an extradition treaty with Denmark right? That could be a pretty inconvienent truth. Maybe Gore just thinks the ice caps will melt next week and flood Copehhagen?

Copenhagen Climate Conference to Create 'Huge' Carbon Footprint

Talk about your global warming . . . When an estimated 16,500 delegates, activists and reporters descend upon Copenhagen Monday for the United Nations Climate Change Conference, a lot of hot air will follow.

The U.N. estimates the 12-day conference will create 40,584 tons of carbon dioxide equivalents, roughly the same amount as the carbon emissions of Morocco in 2006.

Those greenhouse gas emissions are comprised of two parts: international travel and local emissions from hotels and transportation venues. Organizers will also reportedly lay 900 kilometers of computer cable and 50,000 square miles of carpet, along with more than 200,000 meals to be served and 200,000 cups of coffee.

The conference will leave an enormous carbon footprint, says Patrick Michaels, senior fellow for environmental studies at the Cato Institute, a libertarian think tank in Washington.

“It will be huge,” Michaels said of the environmental toll. “Where is video conferencing when we need it? An equally important question is what will be accomplished here?”

Approximately 140 aircraft carrying world leaders, heads of state and VIPs will land in Copenhagen, the U.N. estimates — although 95 percent of departures from Copenhagen Airport will be “green departures,” which allow airplanes to climb continuously to their optimal operating level, enabling them to reach planned routes sooner than usual. The result, according to the U.N., is saved time, fuel and carbon emissions.

But Michaels wonders why attendees, particularly those in Europe, can't ride the rails into Copenhagen....

Can you feel it happening people?...The beginning of the end. Just like a house of cards,Obama,Gore. The list will continue to grow.
The truth will always come out. The smiles on the faces of Biden,Pelosi,Reed,Barny Frank will soon be gone.

Without missing a beat they're going to go back to Global Cooling!!!!!, you watch

The Gorical keeps trying even as the climate changes . . . . again.

Even if a deal is reached at the UN climate change talks in Copenhagen next week it will only be the first step towards the far more radical cuts that are needed in global carbon emissions, Al Gore, the former US Vice-President, told The Times last night.

Mr Gore said that to avoid the worst ravages of climate change world leaders would have to come together again to set more drastic reductions than those now planned.

“Even a final treaty will have to set the stage for other tougher reductions at a later date,” he said. “We have already overshot the safe levels of CO2 in the atmosphere.”
.
.
.
Speaking from San Francisco, the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize and veteran climate campaigner also raised the pressure on President Obama to offer more stringent cuts in US emissions than the present offer of a 17 per cent reduction by 2020.
.
.
.
He also brushed aside questions over the reliability of climate science that have followed the publication last month of leaked e-mails between climate experts. He claimed that the scientific consensus around climate change “continues to grow from strength to strength”. He added: “The naysayers are in a sunset phase with a spectacular climax just before they subside from view. This is a race between common sense and unreality.”

Copenhagen targets not tough enough, says Al Gore - Times Online

He got that bolded part right. He just hasn't figured out that he's the one who's delusory.

Al Gore Backs Out Of Copenhagen
Al Gore Backs Out Of Copenhagen

Global warming proponent Al Gore has backed out of the Copenhagen conference meeting that starts on December 7th. He was going to give a lecture about his new book "Our Choice", but he backed out on Tuesday.
Tickets could run over $1200 to attend the lecture and then meet Gore and take pictures with him. Danish newspaper Berlingske reports that "Cancellation comes with regard to unforeseen changes in Al Gore's program for the climate summit."
Links from visitcopenhagen.com have been taken down regarding his lecture on December 16th. They did not inform anyone of the cancellation, they just took down the page without explanation.

Al Gore Cancels $1,200 Per Handshake Event In Copenhagen | NewsBusters.org
However, the cached version disclosed:
The lecture with Al Gore is on 16 December 2009 in one of the old bottling halls, Tap 1, at Carlsberg Brewery. Tap 1 is a new venue for concerts, lectures and exhibitions in Copenhagen's new developing area of Carlsberg's old brewery site.
Obviously, this is the same event that Berlingske claims has been canceled.
Makes one wonder why VisitCopenhagen.com chose to scrub this event completely from its website rather than inform folks it's been canceled.
Exit question: Do the "unforeseen changes" to Gore's schedule have something to do with ClimateGate and/or the fee being charged for his handshake?
Stay tuned.

This is the book, on which Al Gore will base his lecture, when he invites Copenhageners and visitors to hear him speak about what can be done to solve the serious problems of climate change.
Tickets are available in different price ranges for the event. If you want it all, you can purchase a VIP ticket, where you get a chance to shake hands with Al Gore, get a copy of Our Choice and have your picture taken with him. The VIP event costs DKK 5,999 and includes drinks and a light snack.
If you do not want to spend that much money, but still want to hear Al Gore speak about his latest book about climate challenges, you can purchase general tickets, ranging in price from DKK 199 - 1,499 depending on where in the room you want to sit. There will be large screens, so that everyone will get a good view.

I wonder how he's going to pay for all the carbon credits he's going to need to support the Air Conditioning costs of his Tennessee Mansion?

he plans to sell the lost CRU data on ebay
:eusa_shhh:
I think his losses are just beginning to show up. He's liable to completely lose his mind. I'm betting he's frantically pacing the private places of his mansion saying, "Shit!......Shit!....Shit!....Shit!....Shit!....Shit!....Shit!" in a subdued voice while watching multiple TV programs document the lies.

What a tangled web he's weaved.
