GOP: You Have an Immigrant Problem

the party that can only get small fractions of the votes of people of color doesnt get to define racism.

Your the racists and only fat dumb white men dont understand that

By being insensitive, particularly to people who were brought here as children and have lived their lives as americans, the GOP has signaled its intolerance for immigrants... at least when they don't have white skin like our canadian friend above. .

That is a false premise and an unsubstantiated accusation.

She's an "attorney" yet doesn't understand the difference between legal and illegal immigrants.

That is both illogical and ungrammatical.

More racism from the democrats.

Why is everything about race to you guys?
Because the charge of "racism" is difficult to prove. When they spew calumny on us over little-known false claims, it can take 6 to 8 months to prove them wrong. By that time, the damage is deep, and us waging endless court battles over character assassination doesn't set well with the public.

We're not generally easy to victimize except with bald-faced lies that get them the instant gratification at election time Democrats have benefited from time and again.

It's shameful, tacky, wrong, untruthful, and it works, because it is used under pretense that they care most for observing this lying "wrong" and sways people who may have a language barrier issue who appreciate any seemingly positive attention in a foreign country.

What immigrants may not understand is they are being used as pawns and are quickly inducted into a system that cannot be maintained if everyone does calumny to manipulate benefits. It breaks trust in each other.

Mutual trust in other citizens is what built America. Trust in liars just feathering their own nests with the proceeds is destroying us.

You didn't answer your lie about miners. You picked up your shit and left the thread when I exposed you.

You're attempting to raise your status by disparaging the same people you used misinformation to discredit less than 4 hours ago.

You crank out 20 to 60 lies a day. It would take someone 5 or 6 days to show each and every one of your falsehoods for what it is--a lie.

You are an agent of smudge-pot character assassination and now group character assassination.

We can't take every one of your lies and make it our goal in life to show them for what they are.

Take your smut can someplace else, please.

Imagine a congressional district in California, a state where the GOP last week suffered a political bloodbath. Imagine this district voted for Barack Obama in 2008 and has a significant Democratic voter advantage. Imagine, too, that 70% of its residents are Hispanic.

Now imagine that last week, a first-time Republican candidate trounced his Hispanic Democratic opponent, capturing 60% of the vote. Pure fantasy, right?

Pure reality, as it happens. In January, David Valadao will come to Washington to represent California's 21st District, nestled in the San Joaquin Valley. In a state where Republicans suffered at least four incumbent losses on Nov. 6, Mr. Valadao was the party's only offensive victory, flipping a seat that hasn't elected a Republican in 20 years, and doing it with strong support from the district's majority Hispanic voters. ...

His farming background counted big in the 21st District, which is heavily blue-collar, with a huge farming industry and oil-drilling sector. What Hispanic and non-Hispanic residents there share is a growing fury over federal, state and green-group actions that have cut off water for farmers, made life tougher for drillers, driven up prices, and led overall to some of the highest unemployment rates in the country. ...

The Republican kept the focus on those topics by embracing the immigration issue early on—a second lesson for the GOP. Mr. Valadao, who likes to note that his own parents are immigrants, made clear his frustrations with a broken immigration system that separates families, keeps people waiting decades for visas, robs employers of workers and leaves nobody happy.

These are the day-to-day concerns of many Hispanics and of many employers in the 21st District—not to mention the roots of the broader illegal-immigration issue—and Mr. Valadao's promise to push for a total overhaul moved the debate beyond flash-point terms like "amnesty" or "border security."

The Republican credits his success in talking about immigration to his "common-sense approach," though colleagues note that a big part of it was simply his tone. His willingness to tackle immigration reassured Hispanic voters, freeing them to concentrate on even more pressing policy concerns.

It's not a secret that southern border states have higher poverty rates and income gaps. Inequality gives a boost to the big government "tax the rich, help the middle class" demagoguery. Even if it actually hurts Welfare programs and the low-income worker, illegal immigration is a gift for socialists.

Eventually, the flood of poor unskilled immigrants will reach US northern states.

So Republicans say if someone entered the country illegally we have a problem with that.
And the minorities here legally and illegally at the encouragement of the Democrat party is pissed.

Democrats who don't give a shit that people got here illegally because in some way that keeps them in power that's cool. They are the Party to keep voting for.
Doesn't that pretty much cover it.

The Democrats analyzing for weeks now why the GOP lost and what they need to do to win in the future interests me as to why they care.

If they are so right about things why not keep that fat mouth shut and look forward to years and years of living in the WH....

Maybe they fear that if the GOP goes further right and offers a clear choice in elections that will cause major problems for them....

They are offering positive critique because they love their country and want a healthy GOP....

Yeah right.
