GOP, will you apologize if it turns out all your extra "damage" has been for nothing?

The country was devastated after 8 years of Bush.

The many scandals, Enron, Katrina, the Justice Department and so on.

Then there were the two unpaid for wars and Bush saying "Go shopping".

Then there was the Bush tax cuts the majority of which went to the wealthy.

Then there were thousands of Americans dead and the tens of thousands maimed for life from Iraq and the beginning of the massive unrest in the Middle East.

So Republicans feel their many, many failures and fiascoes were the reasons Obama was elected and decided they would sink the country even further.

The credit downgrades where Republicans got 98% of everything they wanted.

The extra 5 trillion in debt.

Signing a pledge they would never raise taxes, a master stroke of the very rich which dupes the Republican base and is not even constitutional. You don't go into office signing a pledge that overrides your "oath".

The promise to bring down the sitting president.

The lies.

Voter suppression.

All of these are even more damage added to what Republicans did during the Bush years. Completely trashing the country.

Has it all been for nothing? All the extra damage? Has the Republican strategy of "slash and burn" worked? Which of these men would have a more difficult time running a country Republicans have worked so hard to bring down to get rid of the first black president?

Barrack Obama?

One could say the above (better things to do) about many many many posters on here. There are posters with thousands and thousands of posts.

Don't those people have a fuking life? a job? a family? wtf.

Many seem to think saying the same thing over and over and over and over will somehow change someone elses opinion. Ain't gonna happen.

Sometimes I just have to slap myself upside the head to quit wasting so much time on a message board. And I post a moderate amount of time.

Just can't figure out what is accomplished by wasting so much time trading insults with people you don't like. And I am guilty of that as well. Hell I have 1200 in less than a year.

Ah well. This is what we have become. A divided nation that has one side blaming the other and no one trying to fix our problems. But we sure do waste a lot of time. Which we may not have a lot of to waste.

I keep telling people that the Koch Brothers pay Deany to post here to make the Liberals looks like complete fucking idiots, they think it's hysterical.

Maybe now you'll believe me

so Enron is apparently a Bush scandal, despite the fact that the scandalous activity occured in the Clinton administration and the Bush administration held it accountable?

Talk about desperate.

There is really only one division. Republicans, 90% white, and "everyone else". Democrats have been trying to fix the problem, but Republicans have done everything they could to stand in the way. With them, it's not about helping the nation, it's about getting rid of the black guy. Remember, the poorest state in the union is the most conservative, which is obviously a "good fit".

The sad part here is that rDean doesn't even realize that he's being "divided and conquered". The American People aren't the enemy.

The state of the union is becoming worse. Democrats aren't trying to fix anything.

Hilarious. Most of those in the Republican Party don't even believe that the minorities in the Democratic Party should be included in the phrase "The American People".
