The law was intended to protect PATIENTS, not gag doctors you dumb ass MORON. This law now requires companies to reveal to any doctor who claims they need to know the exact chemicals and in what proportions they exist in order to properly treat or diagnose a patient if they believe their patient is ill as the result of a company's fracking -and even though that is patent protected property. Do you really, REALLY not understand this was information doctors couldn't get at ALL before this?

These companies -like every other company in possession of patented formulas and processes - had refused to release that information even to doctors on the grounds these were patent protected formulas and had no assurance they would not be revealed to competitors. Now doctors need only assure the companies they require the information in order to treat a patient and will not reveal it publicly (which is a CRIME in case you really didn't know that) assure the company they do not intend to publicly reveal the patent protected formula to any outside source -and these companies must reveal the chemicals used. The doctor still has no right to publicly reveal that information because it is patent protected -but at least NOW they can find out what, if any chemicals a specific person may have been exposed to! It HELPS patients but does NOT impose on doctors anything that didn't already exist -because they never had the right to that information at all, much less a right to publicly reveal it!

Or are you under the impression that everyone has the right to know the composition of any and all patented formulas and can publicly reveal those if they want?
