No significant age gap among white voters:

    Presidential Race - 2012 Election Center - Elections & Politics from CNN.com

18-29 year olds: 60-37 for Obama
white 18-29 year olds: 51-44 for Romney

30-44 year olds: 52-45 for Obama
white 30-44 year olds: 59-38 for Romney

45-64 year olds: 51-47 for Romney
white 45-64 year olds: 61-38 for Romney

65 and older: 56-44 for Romney
white 65 and older: 61-39 for Romney

Romney won the white vote in 46 of 50 states. Romney won the white vote by same margin as Reagan did in 1980 landslide. Romney won the white women vote by 56-42: the best by any GOP presidential candidate since 1984.

Obama won with Dukakis' share of the white vote:

The Death of the Grown-Up | Diana West > Home - Exit Poll Surprise: White Men Are Not Alone

In other words, it is not at all the case that (evil) white men, rich to boot, are the sole support of the (evil) GOP. That is a myth. But that myth is a political weapon. The Left is not going to target white women, young white people, middle class families, college graduates etc., directly. By demonizing white men, they undermine the affinity for small-"r" republican governance among all of these other people and anyone else who might want to cross the line to liberty. It is a most nefarious form of social conditioning, not at all unlike the historical treatement of Jews, kulaks and other human beings objectified in contempt inside totalitarian systems.

So in 1988 whites, blacks and latinos basically voted the same way:

In fact Dukakis did slightly better than Obama among white people

And Romney did slightly better than Bush Sr. among white women :eusa_shifty:

So did H. Bush hate minorities and women???

Or should we find a serious explanation?

    Why Hispanics Don

It is not immigration policy that creates the strong bond between Hispanics and the Democratic Party, but the core Democratic principles of a more generous safety net, strong government intervention in the economy, and progressive taxation
