Anyone gains the sense that the GOP Tea Party remains a movement of old, fat, White People who do no work of any kind for themselves: Excepting on the sabbath.

(1) The House GOP, Shine-On, Pledge To America wants the Stimulus money all hoarded. No further spending should be allowed to occur.
(2) The Tea Party Contract From (Outer Space) wants not only an audit of all federal spending, but a Constitutional justification for all federal spending: Presumably going back to the Creation(?), (like it is done in the Bible(?))!

Not even the Mormons: Have that problem, and the Huffington Blog herein linked points out that even The Reagan Era Economists are full throttle in favor of Economic Stimulus!

Robert Kuttner: Recovery, Please

So the Democrats offer the liberal left going into the Midterms. The Republicans offer the Lunatic Right, and even the Crazy People, going into the Midterms. Joining with the Liberal Left are distinguished Conservative Economists of service record in the GOP.

AFL-CIO may be at fault for zealous promotion of pay and benefits, for state and local government employees and teachers, aka, the SOB's Who Caused It All, And The "Working Girls" Who Caused It all.

That aside, state and local governments offer proof that austerity doesn't work when a recovery stimulus is needed. Those are the persons most dirctly the cause of it all. They absolutely forbid even discussion of arithmetic alternatives in their classrooms, and journals. They are without dispute the impediment to getting anything re-started, following all the spending just on them. But State and Local governments are budget constrained. Austerity is imposed since there is less and less revenue. AFL-CIO can spot up to 900,000 more lay-offs if in fact the GOP Tea Party Gets elected. About a third of the giant stimulus package all went to State and Local Government payrolls already, and then another dose went in after that.

Instead of aiding in the recovery, they siphoned the recovery money off, for themselves!

The English austerity, clearly in contrast, is designed to reduce the income of the bankers, and simultaneously to bolster the purchasing power of the poor. In the United States, there have been the Gerald Ford and Jerry Brown attempts at bolstering the purchasing power of the poor, going back a generation or so. The Clintons did an equal dollar per child tax credit for anyone still left on the federal income Tax Rolls. Even Bush II, Term II, went back to rebates: For even fewer remaining on the federal income tax rolls. The Huckabee Fair Tax was directed at spenidng power at the lower incomes. The newer Obama Democrats finally did a refundable, Income Tax Credit, in an equal amount, for all who worked. There was a local recovery stimulus, and one for this tax year, too.

The 1986 Income Tax reform itself had previously raised and indexed the personal exemptions, and the standard deduction, equally for all respective qualifiers. Between the refundable Tax Credit, and the 1986 reform elements: Anyone can see the formation of the first-ever nation-wide, properly computed, COLA's ever in history.

Conservatives and Liberals actually both do that: And even in England, and affected Great Britain.

Austerity and roll-back isn't working all that well even now. The current "austerity" is a hideous, preservative, funding of the state and local bureaucrats and teachers. Anyone would call it a "Preservative Stimulus," intending that nothing be dismantled, and that nothing new be created. In other words, it mirrors school!

The GOP Tea Party makes no such case, nor raises any such outcry. In their various platform, agenda, Mainly The Rugs look soiled: So Pull 'em up and throw 'em all away!

(Clearly, Teaching is not possible, or any paid presentations, at any grade level--without the doctoral degree--unless it is believed that some kids are better than the other kids, and that all the other kids are not worh the extra effort. See, for example, the status quo, in America, even now!)

Actually, there are 49 states which need to come in with a semblance of a balanced budget, which limits the abilities to help with people having food, housing, clothing: And in general the Great Socialist benefits of the $52.0 tril. U. S. Credit Market now in place.

State Balanced Budget Requirements: Provisions and Practice

Lots of little sink-holes make for a Stimulus that doesn't matter much. Anyone might conclude that in fact the "Face" of America is full of various-sized boils and zits, already squeezed and popped!

•Overall, the "official" national unemployment rate (U-3) increased by 0.4%, from 6.8% to 7.2%, over November's number. (November's percentage was revised upward by 0.1%.) For the past twelve months, the national rate has increased 2.3%.

Total 2008 job loss: 2.6 million - Jan. 9, 2009

Worst year for jobs since '45
Annual loss biggest since end of World War II. Unemployment rate rises to 7.2%.

It amazes me how many of you can't handle 'cause and effect'.

Thanks for answering

I couldn't follow the rambling.

Are you saying we didn't borrow enough or print enough money to devalue the dollar even more?

Are you saying that by wasting more money than we have wasted will fix everything?

$1.4 TRILLION was not enough?

I think Crusader Frank was wrong. You are not retarded, but you must be high.

$52.0 tril. in the Total Credit Market is actually a lot more money than is $1.4 tril. in deficit spending: As long as there is valued transaction capability at the lower incomes. If the valued transactions are not happening, then it is clearly worthless. Hoarding is not option with that kind of money, around!

It is elsewhere noted that a state and local government employee costs about $60,000.00 per year in pay and benefits, whereas the private sector employee costs $40,000.00 per year. Instead of more valued transcations, the Ivy league of the Obamas chose to support fewer. The lower age group of the working sector is especially hard-hit in the last two years, and especially blacks with less education. That is back to the old gang-violence, Reagan Trajectory, that some people--that anyone can think of--so adore. The $1.4 tril. is useless to the young and especially if they are black. The stock market isn't happening for them. The economy isn't for those people at all.

The Obama family is like that about such people. We are talking lawyers, here! They are of Ivy League educational values: That even Rev. Jeremiah Wright knows a great deal about. It is noted that the Obamas jettisoned their Christian pastor, for example. Truth is Hard for some people, to accept, and clearly at the Ivy League(?)!

The $1.4 tril. is a problem if it is useless. Another Baptist, Huckabee, just possibly had figured that out too. The Democratic Liberals of the Reagan era had figured that out, and came up with indexed deductions. The Ivy League does not have the concept, and the Obama Administration does not have the concept: Except that if, (which is "it" in Constitutional(?)), noted that the 1986 reform mainly threw people off the tax rolls. The Bush Administration, of Yale, hadn't done that math at all. As for the GOP and the Tea Party: The Tea Party is even finding Alaska to be colder than a witch's tit from Delaware. It has yet to notice much of anything at all. It is their Holiday Season, coming up!

Teenagers actually understand faces, and even when they are called "books," which apparently they avidly read. It is not clear if the "books" they are reading:
Are even allowed in the schools, is all. But faces they seem to understand!

The Tea Party could understand that, even: If only it could!

"Crow, James CrowL Shaken, Not Stirred!"
(No one ask about face of White Masc'd-man, either(?)!)
