Oh good grief. A total of 40 people were tested so far in the first 5 weeks. It would be great if the trend continued as such but people knew these drug tests were coming. Just as we knew at a previous job of mine. Unions demanded 30 days and everyone was out buying Golden Seal and quitting their habit to assure they would not come up hot.

If anyone thinks that fair warning and a total of less than 40 people being tested is indicative of thousands who are welfare such is a bit premature IMO.

The $178 million is the cost of the program. Assume Florida has 100,000 people on welfare (I'm guessing, but I bet I'm very close), divide 178 million by a hundred thousand and that's 1780, now divide that by 12, the number of months in a year, that would leave $148 dollars a month. No one could live on that.
