GOP Presidential Primary: New Rules Of The Race Emerge

Instead, the contenders are adhering to the following guidelines:

Thou Shalt Not Raise ANY Taxes
Thou Shalt Pass a Constitutional Amendment to Make Abortion Illegal
Thou Shalt Pass a Constitutional Amendment to Define Marriage as the Union of a Man and a Woman
Thou Shalt Repeal "ObamaCare," AKA the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act
Thou Shalt Repeal The Dodd-Frank Banking Regulation Act
Thou Shalt Pass a Constitutional Amendment to Balance the Federal Budget
Thou Shalt Only Give Military Support to "Our Friends"
Thou Shalt Limit the Power of -- If Not Entirely Abolish -- the EPA
Thou Shalt Drill, Mine and Frak to the Widest Extent Possible
Thou Shalt Take the Name of President Obama in Vain

Do most Republicans believe in these New Ten Commandments? Maybe not a majority, and maybe not even a majority in Iowa. But there is little doubt that almost all of the people who voted in the straw poll -- and most of the activist core of the GOP today -- believe in the list.

The first six work for me.

The seventh begs the question; do we give military assistance to unfriendly nations? We shouldn't

Can't support the 8th or we will have a smoking hole in the ground.

Limited support for #9. strike "widest extent possible" and replace it with something that makes economic sense and environmentally protected.

#10 is time limited anyway but mean spirited.

We have just 453 more campaign days left.

I have to disagree with numbers 2 and 3, these are state issues and should not be acted upon by the Federal Government.

Sounds a lot better than what the Dems live by:

Thou Shalt Raise Taxes
Thou Shalt never resrtict Abortion
Thou Shalt force recognition of Gay Marriage
Thou Shalt only allow state run health care
Thou Shalt Regulate, Regulate, Regulate
Thou Shalt always spend more than what thou take in
Thou Shalt cut Defense Spending
Thou Shalt give unlimited powers to the EPA
Thou Shalt never allow drilling
Thou Shalt Never Take the Name of The Hussein in Vain

Oh boy.. a link to the Huff 'n Puff. No wonder you're so ignorant.

:lol::lol::lol:

Thou Shalt Not Raise ANY Taxes Sounds like a great idea. Why wouldn't everyone support this?
Thou Shalt Pass a Constitutional Amendment to Make Abortion Illegal Never heard of this.
Thou Shalt Pass a Constitutional Amendment to Define Marriage as the Union of a Man and a Woman Unconstitutiona bullshit.
Thou Shalt Repeal "ObamaCare," AKA the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act We are learning what's in it and learning that it's truly an economy killer. Like we said.
Thou Shalt Repeal The Dodd-Frank Banking Regulation Act Don't know the details on this, but Frank is the goon that fiddles as Fannie and Freddie burned.
Thou Shalt Pass a Constitutional Amendment to Balance the Federal Budget Bad idea. The Fed economy is to vast and such controls would be foolish during tradgedies.
Thou Shalt Only Give Military Support to "Our Friends" duh. Stopping big 0 from giving aide to terrorist in Lybia should be a great concern to all.
Thou Shalt Limit the Power of -- If Not Entirely Abolish -- the EPA Fuck Yeah!
Thou Shalt Drill, Mine and Frak to the Widest Extent Possible Leave it up to the states, as we are Constitutionally supposed to.
Thou Shalt Take the Name of President Obama in Vain Blasphamy. This implies that big 0 is some divine figure.

Let's go through the list.

Thou Shalt Not Raise ANY Taxes

And what's the problem here? You want to burden the people more? We are in the middle of economic turmoil and you want to make it even worse for people? Why? Do you hate the American people so much you think they should pay for your failed programs at the cost of their food, medicine, homes, and children????

Thou Shalt Pass a Constitutional Amendment to Make Abortion Illegal

Ive got nothing inherently against this, but other than Santorum who exactly is pushing for this?

Thou Shalt Pass a Constitutional Amendment to Define Marriage as the Union of
a Man and a Woman

Because obviously encourage strong families is a bad thing to you.

Thou Shalt Repeal "ObamaCare," AKA the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act

Of course we want to repeal Obamacare. We dont need the people suffering under the burden of foolish government plans that make things worse for people!

Thou Shalt Repeal The Dodd-Frank Banking Regulation Act

Well duh! We want strong economic growth, not a continued recession

Thou Shalt Pass a Constitutional Amendment to Balance the Federal Budget

What exactly do you have against living within our means? Do you want us to be bankrupt? Do you want us to be vulnerable to foreign enemies

Thou Shalt Only Give Military Support to "Our Friends"

Sounds like common sense to me. I mean what kind of moron wants to support our enemies? Oh wait...

Thou Shalt Limit the Power of -- If Not Entirely Abolish -- the EPA

Yes. We like having jobs. We dont want the government regulating them out of the nation.

Thou Shalt Drill, Mine and Frak to the Widest Extent Possible

Yes. We want to produce our own energy. We want to have jobs. We dont want to be relying on questionable foreign powers. What do you have against energy independence? Why do you want us reliant on Saudi Arabia and Russia for energy? Does that make any sense?

Thou Shalt Take the Name of President Obama in Vain

We don't think Obama is divine. Why would we be worried about taking his name in vain? He isn't God. He's a man. A very flawed man. Maybe you should start seeing him as he is.
