MY PREDICTION: Paul Ryan will win the nomination. He was selected to be Romney's running mate for the exposure and to "look" Presidential in preparation for 2016. He's the Koch brothers chosen one and they won't be denied his nomination. They've got enough money to buy it.

If it turns out to be Paul Ryan v Hillary Clinton, I'd have to give a slight advantage to Hillary right now. History would suggest that a GOP candidate should do very well in 2016 but history also suggested that a GOP candidate should have won in 2012.

Republicans have a lot of damage-control to do and so far they don't look up to the task. We shall see.

I agree that race or gender shouldn't be an issue. It should come down to competence. That being said, I still don't see a Republican that can both win the primaries and take her on in the general on that basis.

You're assuming Hillary will be capable of running. She isn't exactly a spring chicken. Heck, even us young people might not be around in four years or capable of functioning at the level a President would be.

Besides, Benghazi will always be hanging over her.

As for the OP prediction. Im dont with predicting the future of political campaigns. There are just too many factors that are unpredictable. We don't know candidates. We dont know the State the nation will be in then. We shouldnt be worrying about the election then. We should be preparing our lives and developing our characters so that no matter what happens, we will live our lives with honor and prepare our children for the Restoration of the Republic. Or even for something greaters.
